Show job description

We are looking for a Senior Field Marketing Manager to own field marketing for our Government segment, Siteimprove's largest market. This is a hands-on role for someone who moves quickly from plan to execution, runs a high volume of events without dropping details, and can write the story we tell on stage.

You will be the primary marketing partner to our Public Sector VP of Sales and the Government sales team. You will build integrated campaigns that target our highest-priority government accounts across federal, state, and local agencies, then activate them through conferences, executive roundtables, speaking engagements, webinars, digital plays, and high-touch account sequences. Everything you run is measured by pipeline influence and revenue contribution.

What you will be doing

1. Government Programs

  • Develop and execute integrated, multi-channel demand generation campaigns for the Government segment. Partner with Product Marketing to tailor the messaging to government audiences, agency priorities and fiscal-year timing.
  • Build account-based plays with Sales for top target agencies, using intent data to prioritize and personalize outreach.
  • 2. Sales Partnership & Pipeline Programs

  • Serve as the strategic marketing partner to the government team, building a quarterly field plan tied to territory priorities, pipeline gaps, and revenue targets.
  • Own program strategy across new logo and expansion pipeline, designing the right mix of roundtables, conferences, webinars, and VIP dinners for the sales motion.
  • Enable Sales and BDR teams on campaign context, target account lists, and follow-up cadences, and lead regular pipeline reviews.
  • 3. Regional Field Events & Programs

  • Plan and run a high-volume calendar of events tied to pipeline goals, including owned events, conferences, trade shows, executive roundtables, roadshows and virtual programs.
  • Manage each event from start to finish, from sponsorships, vendors and logistics through onsite execution, and keep events and hospitality within public sector gift and ethics rules.
  • Drive event ROI by owning account targeting, meeting setting, BDR enablement and post-event follow-up.
  • 4. Performance, Attribution & Budget Ownership

  • Own the Government field marketing budget and define campaign KPIs across sourced pipeline, influenced pipeline, MQL-to-SQL conversion, cost-per-opportunity, and event ROI.
  • Use AI tools and dashboards for multi-touch attribution, and present performance to marketing and sales leadership on a regular cadence.
  • 5. Marketing Technology & AI-Enabled Execution

  • Optimize use of marketing automation (Pardot/HubSpot/Marketo) for segmentation, campaign automation, and reporting.
  • Demonstrate efficiency with AI tools to accelerate content personalization, campaign sequencing, and performance analysis.
  • What we will require of you

  • 4-5 years of progressive experience in field marketing or demand generation within a B2B SaaS or enterprise technology company.
  • Demonstrated success driving sourced and influenced pipeline, with the ability to clearly connect your campaigns to revenue outcomes.
  • Direct experience working with Enterprise sales teams on territory planning, account selection, and campaign alignment.
  • Strong proficiency in automation platforms (Pardot, HubSpot, or Marketo) and Salesforce.
  • Experience with an intent data or ABM platform (6sense, Demandbase, or Revic).
  • Excellent event, project and program management skills, you run multiple campaigns simultaneously without dropping details.
  • Analytical and data-fluent, you build your own reports, interpret attribution data, and present pipeline performance with confidence.
  • Proven ability to operate independently, prioritize in a fast-moving environment, and drive programs from idea to results.
  • Experience managing project timelines and reporting on performance.
  • What we will love about you

  • Experience building industry vertical campaigns.
  • Background running executive programs (EBCs, VIP roundtables, advisory boards) targeting C-suite and VP-level enterprise buyers.
  • Experience using AI tools to accelerate campaign execution and personalization at scale.
  • In addition, we hope you will appreciate:
