Who We Are
Spectro Cloud helps platform teams and cloud providers modernize and manage infrastructure for the AI era without adding more tools or operational complexity.

With PaletteAI, enterprises, public sector organizations, neoclouds and sovereign clouds can build, govern and operate full-stack environments across VMs, Kubernetes, edge, regulated and air-gapped locations, and AI infrastructure. PaletteAI Launchpads help teams start quickly with urgent outcomes such as VMware migration, token cost control or edge modernization, then scale into enterprise-wide lifecycle management, governance and fleet operations on the same platform.

About The Team
Spectro Cloud is hiring a Senior Field Marketing Manager to own end to end execution of our global flagship events and public sector marketing programs.

This is a senior individual contributor role built for someone who can run large scale events, owns budget execution, and operates independently under pressure. You will take the strategic direction set by the Director of Field Marketing and turn it into flawless execution, bringing your own tactical judgment on activation, vendor mix, and onsite operations. You will be a trusted partner to sales, product marketing, and executive stakeholders, and you will represent Spectro Cloud onsite at our highest visibility moments of the year.

The right person for this role is calm under pressure, exercises sound judgment when plans change, troubleshoots independently, and takes accountability for outcomes. You know when to escalate and when to make the call yourself.

What You’ll do
Event Execution and Program Ownership

  • Own end to end execution of company flagship events including KubeCon, reInvent, large trade shows, and executive programs

  • Translate the annual event strategy set by the Director into detailed activation plans, timelines, and checklists

  • Bring tactical recommendations on activation formats, vendor selection, booth design, and onsite experience

  • Own booth strategy, staffing plans, messaging, and onsite operations

  • Troubleshoot issues independently onsite, escalating only when a decision genuinely requires Director input

  • Represent Spectro Cloud onsite with executives, customers, and partners

Budget Execution

  • Own event budget execution against the allocations set by the Director

  • Track spend, manage vendor contracts, and reconcile actuals against budget

  • Flag variances early with proposed adjustments

  • Deliver clean post event ROI reporting on every program

Cross Functional Coordination

  • Partner with sales, partnerships, product marketing, and demand gen to execute against event goals

  • Lead cross functional planning conversations, keep stakeholders informed proactively, and drive alignment without being asked

  • Communicate risks, blockers, and dependencies early with proposed solutions

  • Operate as a trusted execution partner to sales leaders in both commercial and public sector segments

Pipeline and Campaign Support

  • Own event performance tracking and pipeline attribution reporting

  • Execute pre event engagement campaigns and post event follow up in partnership with demand gen and sales

  • Track and report on lead volume, meeting outcomes, and pipeline created for every event

  • Bring forward insights and tactical recommendations that shape future execution

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of field marketing or event marketing experience in tech, preferably at a SaaS startup or high growth infrastructure company

  • Proven track record executing flagship events end to end

  • Experience managing event budget execution with clear ROI reporting

  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot independently, make sound decisions under pressure, and take ownership of outcomes

  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and strong project management skills across multiple simultaneous events

  • Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to influence stakeholders across sales, product marketing, and executive teams

  • Proven ability to operate autonomously in a fast paced, high growth environment with shifting priorities

  • Composed and solutions focused under pressure, including during live event execution

  • Discretion and sound judgment when handling internal information, personnel matters, and pre announcement content

  • Willingness to travel 30 to 40%, domestically and internationally

  • Working experience in GSuite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail)

  • Proficiency with project management tools such as JIRA, Monday.com, or Wrike

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce (SFDC) or other CRM tools

  • Experience with marketing automation tools such as HubSpot or Marketo

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience marketing to enterprise executives, platform engineering, DevOps, Kubernetes, or AI infrastructure audiences

  • Experience partnering with strategic technology partners (AMD, NVIDIA, AWS, or similar) on co marketing programs

What Success Looks Like For First 6 Months

  • Owns end to end execution of the flagship event calendar without needing daily direction

  • Executes cleanly against allocated budgets with accurate tracking, on time reconciliation, and clear ROI reporting

  • Troubleshoots and resolves issues independently onsite, escalating only when a decision genuinely requires Director input

  • Becomes a trusted advisor by sales, product marketing, and executives as the reliable execution owner of our flagship moments

  • Consistently delivers events on time, on budget, and with measurable pipeline impact

  • Brings tactical recommendations that improve how we activate at future events
