We are looking for a Senior Finance Manager to lead the finance function for our Australian & New Zealand business, based in Melbourne. Reporting to the Country Manager with a close dotted-line relationship to the Group Finance team in London, this role will act as a strategic business partner while ensuring strong financial control, compliance and operational excellence. You will act with autonomy for your region but have the support of the global financial leadership team and the Country Manager, supporting business growth through insightful planning, analysis and decision-making. You'll be Leading all finance activities across the Australian entity, including accounting, reporting, forecasting, budgeting, tax, treasury and financial controls. Partnering with the Country Manager and leadership team to provide commercial insight and support key business decisions. Delivering accurate monthly and annual financial reporting, including performance analysis and recommendations. Owning the annual budget and rolling forecast processes, working closely with global finance teams to align plans with business objectives. Managing cash flow, working capital and liquidity to support sustainable growth and operational effectiveness. Collaborating with credit risk and commercial teams to support effective customer credit management and cash collection processes. Ensuring compliance with Australian accounting, tax, payroll, audit and statutory reporting requirements. Building and maintaining robust financial controls and aligning local processes with global finance standards. Managing relationships with external auditors, banking partners and professional advisers. Supporting business cases, investment decisions, system improvements and the development of the Australian finance team. You'll have A professional accounting qualification. Significant experience in a senior finance leadership role, ideally within a multi-entity or matrix organisation. Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and financial control frameworks. A thorough understanding of Australian accounting, tax, payroll and statutory compliance requirements. Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools. The ability to translate complex financial information into practical commercial recommendations. Experience building or developing finance teams, ideally within a growing or newly established business. Full, unrestricted right to work in Australia. A willingness to work from our Melbourne office a minimum of 3 days per week and collaborate flexibly with colleagues in London when required. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power BI would be advantageous.
