Position Overview The Senior Financial Analyst – Facilities Capital & Projects is a key member of the Facilities Finance & Data Analytics team, responsible for providing end to end financial support for major capital initiatives, including the Downsize/Remodel Program and Distribution Center Construction Program. This role partners closely with Facilities, Construction, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Finance to ensure disciplined capital planning, accurate forecasting, and strong financial controls across complex, multi year projects. The position plays a critical role in improving financial visibility, strengthening forecasting processes, and supporting informed decision making for high impact capital investments. The Senior Financial Analyst will lead detailed financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and project closeout activities while proactively identifying risks, trends, and opportunities to optimize capital spend and project outcomes. A Day in the Life Capital Expense Management, Budget & Tracking Serve as the primary finance partner for assigned Facilities capital programs, providing accurate forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis throughout the project lifecycle. Lead monthly and quarterly capital forecasts, ensuring alignment between project timelines, spend profiles, and financial reporting. Prepare and present variance analysis, trend insights, and executive‑level summaries for Facilities and Finance leadership. Ensure accuracy and integrity of capital financials, including accruals, general ledger coding, and compliance with internal controls. Downsize/Remodel Program Financial Support Provide dedicated financial ownership for the Downsize/Remodel Program, supporting both active and completed projects. Perform trend analysis to identify cost drivers, spending patterns, and forecasting risks across the Downsize/Remodel portfolio. Support the development of Management Committee budgets Stand up and own a new forecast process, including standardized assumptions, and ancillary departmental input to consolidate project forecasts and program forecasts, ensuring data accuracy and consistency. Conduct project audits and financial closeout, ensuring all costs are captured, accruals cleared, and projects closed in systems. Distribution Center Construction Program- Financial Partnership Provide comprehensive financial oversight for Distribution Center construction projects from planning through completion. Track and manage capital budgets, ensuring visibility to total project cost, commitments, and forecasted spend. Work directly with vendors and project teams on draw schedules, payments, and accruals, ensuring accurate timing and financial reporting. Lead forecasting activities for Distribution Center projects, incorporating construction schedules, vendor commitments, and risk factors. Partner closely with Supply Chain to maintain a full financial and operational view of each project, supporting effective communication and alignment. Perform ROI and financial analysis for alternative Distribution Center build options, supporting strategic decision‑making and capital allocation. Special Projects Complete special projects as given by SVP/VP and Director of Facilities Scope and Impact This role has a direct impact on the financial governance, transparency, and performance of Facilities capital programs that represent significant company investment and operational importance. Supports large‑scale, multi‑year capital programs with complex funding structures, vendor relationships, and construction timelines, requiring a high level of financial rigor and cross‑functional coordination. Influences capital investment decisions by providing accurate forecasts & trend analysis, enabling leadership to evaluate trade‑offs, prioritize projects, and manage risk. Drives forecast accuracy and budget discipline by owning key forecasting processes, improving assumptions, and ensuring alignment between operational plans and financial reporting. Strengthens financial controls and compliance through project audits, PO governance, accrual accuracy, and timely project closeout, reducing financial leakage and audit risk. Enhances organizational efficiency by standardizing and improving financial processes, increasing visibility into capital spend and reducing manual rework across teams. Contributes to enterprise‑level outcomes by supporting capital investments that directly impact store profitability, operational efficiency, supply chain capacity, and long‑term growth. You'll Come With A Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field Advanced Degree preferred 3-5 years of experience in Finance with an emphasis on budgeting, forecasting, planning and analysis Proven experience in finance with demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Strong, practical knowledge of MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint with the ability to utilize various other Business Intelligence reporting and internal tracking mechanisms. Strong communication skills, able to translate technical data to non-technical audiences. Retail Operational Finance or FP&A experience preferred Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data gathering, organization, analysis, interpretation, and solution development Proven experience in KPI development and dashboard reporting Strong time management skills with the ability to thrive in a time-bound environment Excellent organizational skills with the flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities Demonstrated ability to interact across a broad range of organizational levels and functions Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team #LI-CG1 Come join our team.
