Is this job info correct?

About the Position At Thryv, we’re a team that lives by teamwork. However, it’s not the work that drives us, it’s the respect, trust, and care for each other that defines us as a team. We’re a diverse community of trendsetters who do our best work in a fun, relaxed environment. Technology never stops evolving and neither do we. We’re always looking for the best and brightest team players to join us. This role serves as a business-facing financial partner and is responsible for providing business leaders with a clear understanding of the drivers behind their financial results, translating that understanding into direction for action. By applying artificial intelligence to accelerate the production of routine financial reporting, this role is positioned to spend its time on higher-value strategic work: interpreting results, pressure-testing drivers with the business, and advising leaders on where to course-correct or invest further. This is a high-visibility role with direct access to the leaders who own business spend and the executives who act on the resulting analysis. Responsibilities Serves as the financial partner to assigned business leaders, participating in their operating reviews and providing financial insight that informs their decisions. Builds and maintains the financial models, annual budget, and rolling forecast for assigned areas of the business. Leverages artificial intelligence and automation to produce recurring financial reporting and identify emerging changes, creating capacity for deeper analysis of business performance. Investigates variances to budget, forecast, and prior-year results to determine the underlying business drivers. Recommends corrective actions and growth opportunities to business leaders based on variance and performance findings. Interprets key performance indicators and subscription-based business metrics, including annual recurring revenue, net revenue retention, churn, and gross margin, to explain their impact on the business. Delivers ad hoc analysis and scenario modeling in response to emerging business questions. Prepares and presents financial deliverables for business leaders and executive management, translating analysis into actionable recommendations. Who We’re Looking For Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent), required Master's degree (or international equivalent), preferred 5+ years of related experience, required. Experience in a SaaS or technology company, required. Experience evaluating spend from a driver and return-on-investment perspective in one or more relevant disciplines, such as IT financial management (ITFM), technology business management (TBM), FinOps, marketing measurement and LTV:CAC analysis, workforce modeling, or unit economics, required. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and proficiency with other Microsoft Office tools, required. Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning or similar enterprise planning and ERP systems, required. 9+ years of related experience, preferred. Experience in a B2B SaaS company, preferred. Experience with AI tools such as Claude, including building reusable skills or workflows, strongly preferred. Ability to source data and metrics from Domo or similar business intelligence platforms, preferred. Experience with AI agents and SQL, preferred. Advanced knowledge of financial planning and analysis principles, including generally accepted accounting principles, and the ability to connect financial results to the operational drivers behind them. Strong business acumen and analytical curiosity, with sound judgment in recommending a course of action based on root cause findings. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with audiences across all levels of the organization, including executive leadership. Advanced analytical and data modeling skills, including the ability to apply artificial intelligence tools to accelerate financial modeling, forecasting, and root cause analysis. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines while owning projects from start to finish. Aptitude and willingness to work AI-first, using tools such as Claude to automate recurring analysis and reporting, with the judgment to validate output before it reaches a business or executive audience. Ability to travel less than 5% of the time. Must be 18 years of age or older. Must successfully complete pre-employment screening process, as required. Must successfully complete any required training or orientation courses, as needed.
