Senior Flutter Developer

Job Description This is a remote position. Engagement: Contract, 3 months, extension possible subject to funding Location: Fully remote Work hours: UK hours About the role UK Client is building a web-based Flutter MVP for a platform that handles financial data, so security and reliability are central. The immediate focus is shipping the web MVP, with Android and iOS versions planned later. This is a hands-on delivery role working directly with the client's technical lead. Requirements Key responsibilities Build and ship the web-based Flutter MVP to release quality Implement clean, maintainable state management using Riverpod Integrate secure RESTful APIs for financial data, using tools such as Retrofit for backend interaction Write Golden tests to keep widget UI consistent across changes Work closely with the technical lead on reviews and onboarding Structure the codebase to support future Android and iOS builds Must-have skills 5 to 10 years of professional software development experience Minimum 5 years hands-on Flutter Strong command of Riverpod for state management Proven experience building and consuming secure RESTful APIs Familiarity with Retrofit (or equivalent) for backend interaction Practical use of Golden tests for widget UI regression Comfortable working with sensitive financial data Strong written and spoken English Nice to have Experience building MVPs in a startup or bootstrapped setting Fintech or financial services background Track record taking a web Flutter app through to mobile
