Job Description This is a remote position. ₱140,000–170,000/month | Contractor | 100% Work From Home | 3-Month Contract | Immediate Start | Australian Business Hours If you’ve shipped production Flutter apps and have real experience integrating third-party REST APIs — handling auth, retries, edge cases, and error states — this is a role where you’ll own the integration end-to-end. We’re placing a Senior Flutter Developer for a fast-growing Australian health and nutrition technology startup. The primary focus is leading the integration of their Flutter mobile app with a third-party REST API — designing reliable data flows, implementing authentication and syncing, handling edge cases gracefully, and delivering a seamless user experience. You’ll also build, extend, and maintain features in the existing Flutter codebase and take ownership of delivery from implementation through to release. This is a hands-on individual contributor role for someone highly self-reliant who can drive progress without heavy oversight. Immediate start. 3-month contract. WHAT YOU’LL DO Lead integration of the Flutter app with a third-party REST API Design and implement reliable data flows between systems Handle authentication, syncing, and edge cases gracefully Build, extend, and maintain features in the Flutter mobile application Take ownership of delivery from implementation through to release Improve the existing codebase for performance, readability, and maintainability Debug and resolve integration issues and inconsistencies Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and backend teams Requirements Must Have Strong commercial experience with Flutter and Dart Proven experience integrating third-party REST APIs in production — not just personal projects Experience handling auth flows, retries, rate limits, and error states Solid understanding of mobile architecture, state management, and data flow Experience working with existing production codebases Strong debugging and performance optimisation skills Experience with backend-as-a-service platforms — Firebase, Supabase, or AWS Amplify Ability to work independently and deliver with minimal oversight High ownership mindset and strong attention to detail Preferred Full-stack experience — Node.js, Python, or Express Experience with OAuth or external service integrations CI/CD for mobile apps — Fastlane, Codemagic, or Bitrise Exposure to health, fitness, or consumer app environments Startup or early-stage product experience Benefits ₱140,000 – 170,000 per month Contractor arrangement — direct payment 100% work from home Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM AEST 3-month contract — immediate start Work directly with product, design, and backend teams at a fast-growing AU health tech startup If you’re a Flutter developer with real REST API integration experience ready to own a critical integration end-to-end — apply now.
