What You Will Do:
  • Independently investigate different complexity alerts and cases involving suspected payment and card fraud, using Luminor’s anti-financial crime systems

  • Analyzing customers' information and transactions using Luminor's systems, public databases and records

  • Make risk-based decisions and determine appropriate actions in accordance with internal procedures and established escalation requirements

  • Maintaining contact with structural units responsible for communication with customers to obtain information about customer's activity

  • Identification of suspicious and unusual activity related with fraud, preparation of a summary of investigation and overview of customer’s activity and escalation to respective units if needed

  • Contribute to procedure development, quality improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing within the team by sharing expertise and providing guidance on complex payment fraud cases

  • Training and mentoring more junior colleagues or newcomers

  • Contribute to team and company performance through effective collaboration, ownership and commitment

What We Expect:
  • University degree in law, economics, business management or any related field

  • Solid practical experience in payment fraud prevention, detection or investigation within a bank, financial institution or other regulated financial services environment

  • Strong knowledge of payment and card fraud typologies, investigation methods and fraud risk indicators

  • Demonstrated ability to independently assess complex cases, make risk-based decisions and provide clear justification for investigation outcomes

  • Experience in handling escalated cases, supporting colleagues or contributing to process, control or quality improvements

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to identify patterns across multiple transactions, customers or cases

  • Ability to remain up to date with emerging fraud trends, regulatory developments and industry practices relevant to the assigned area

  • High level of responsibility, initiative and commitment to quality and operational excellence

  • Native Lithuanian and fluent English is required in spoken and written communication.
