Senior Frontend Developer (Next.js)

Role Description This full-time Senior Frontend Developer (Next.js) role at Desent Solutions GmbH is a hybrid position based in Bali, Indonesia, with flexibility for partial work from home. The Senior Frontend Developer will design, build, and maintain modern, user-focused web interfaces using Next.js, React, and related frontend technologies. Responsibilities include implementing responsive layouts, optimizing performance, collaborating with designers and backend developers, and ensuring accessibility and cross-browser compatibility. The role involves translating product requirements into reusable UI components, participating in code reviews, maintaining high-quality standards, and contributing to technical decisions and architecture. The Senior Frontend Developer will also troubleshoot issues, improve development workflows, and mentor other team members on frontend best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong Front-End Development skills, including advanced experience with Next.js, React, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Solid Web Development and Software Development skills, with a focus on building scalable, maintainable applications.
• Expertise in Responsive Web Design and creating accessible, mobile-first user interfaces.
• Understanding of Back-End Web Development concepts to effectively integrate APIs and collaborate with backend teams.
• Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3 (e.g., CSS modules, Tailwind, or styled-components), and modern build tools (Webpack, Vite, or similar).
• Experience with Git-based workflows, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup in Bali, Indonesia, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Prior experience in a senior or lead frontend role and a track record of delivering production-ready applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is beneficial.
