The Role We're hiring a Senior Full-Stack Developer to design, build, and own modern web platforms across our technology ecosystem. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who is comfortable working across the entire stack, from creating polished frontend experiences to designing scalable backend services, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and produciton systems. You'll play a key role in shaping technical architecture, driving engineering best practices, and delivering reliable, maintable software that directly supports our business. You'll work closely with the Principal Engineer, Product, and Operations team to build production-ready solutions while helping raises the technical standards across the engineering organization. What You’ll Do Design, develop, and maintain production-grade full-stack applications. Build modern frontend applications using Typescript and contemporary frameworks such as Svelte, Angular, React, or similar. Develop backend services using Python (primarily FastAPI), asynchronous programming, and modern API design principles. Design and and implement REST APIs, WebSockets, gRPC services, and event-driven architectures where appropriate. Build secure authentication, authorization, and integration layers with third-party platforms. Design scalable data models and maintain efficient data flows across multiple systems. Write clean, maintable, well-tested, and well-documented code. Implement observability through logging, monitoring, metrics, and alerting. Participate in architectural discussions and make thoughtful technical decisions based on scalability, realibility, and maintainability. Perform code reviews and mentor other engineers by promoting engineering best practices. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and cloud infrastructure improvements. Debug complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive long-term solutions. Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Operations, and Leadership teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Take ownership of projects from technical design through deployment and ongoing maintenance. What We’re Looking For Must-Haves 5+ years of professional software engineering experience. Strong experience building production-grade full-stack applications. Advanced backend development experience using Python (FastAPI preferred). Strong proficiency with TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks such as Svelte, Angular, React, Next.js, or similar. Experience designing and maintaining REST APIs and distributed backend services. Experience with SQL databases, ORM frameworks, and data modeling. Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and backend performance optimization. Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure. Experience implementing authentication, authorization, and application security best practices. Experience with Git, collaborative development workflows, and code reviews. Strong understanding of sotware architecture, scalability, and system design. Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate technical decisions clearly and collaborate effectively across teams. Bonus Points For Experience with Rust. Experience building event-drive or message-based architectures. Experience with gRPC and WebSockets. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or container orchestration. Experience implementing observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Prometheus, or similar. Experience building CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code. Previous experience mentoring engineers or leading technical initiatives. Experience working in startup or high-growth technology companies.
