For a long-term project with an Austrian banking client, we are looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Developer with a strong focus on Angular, complemented by Java/backend experience and knowledge of workflow engines such as Camunda.
The project focuses on retail banking financing processes, including consumer loans and credit facilities.
Contract details
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: until 31 December 2027
- Workload: Full-time
- Location: Hybrid – remote + 1 day per week on-site in Budapest (5th district)
- Language: English required
- German: strong advantage
- Contracting rate: €280–320 / MD

- Several years of professional experience with Angular and modern Angular technologies
- Strong experience with REST API integrations
- Experience working in complex system environments with multiple integrations and end-to-end processes
- Experience with Camunda or a comparable workflow/process engine
- Full-stack know-how, particularly Java and Microservices
- Ability to independently design and implement features
- Senior-level experience
- Experience with test automation, ideally JMeter, Playwright or Tosca
- CI/CD experience with technologies such as Git, Jenkins and OpenShift
- Previous experience in the banking or financial services sector
- German language skills
You are comfortable working in agile delivery environments such as Scrum or LeSS, can quickly understand complex business and technical processes, and work independently with a strong delivery-oriented and solution-focused mindset.
You will join an existing delivery team, with the expectation of rapid onboarding and the ability to contribute productively from an early stage.
