At Orbital Eye, we help pipeline and grid operators protect critical infrastructure using satellite imagery, AI, and geospatial technology. Our COSMIC-EYE platform continuously monitors thousands of kilometers of critical infrastructure worldwide, helping operators identify potential threats before they become incidents. As critical infrastructure becomes increasingly important to society, we believe continuous visibility is becoming essential for safer, more reliable, and more sustainable operations.
Since 2012, we have been pioneering satellite-powered infrastructure monitoring, supporting operators across Europe and beyond in safeguarding the networks that keep our societies running.Our team of around 40 people, representing 15 nationalities, is scaling toward 80+ across Europe and the US. As we grow, we are building the foundations of a mature organization — and that is where you come in. As we continue to scale, we are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to help build and improve the internal tools, workflows, and systems that keep our operations running smoothly.

As Senior Full Stack Developer - Internal Tooling & Workflow Automation, you will help build the tools that allow our Operations, Customer Success, and technical teams to work faster, smarter, and more consistently. This is a role for someone who enjoys solving practical problems, working closely with users, and turning operational needs into well-designed software.
🔭 Your Role
As part of our development team, you will:
• Build and improve internal web applications and tooling used by our teams every day.
• Develop back-end services, APIs, and workflows using FastAPI.
• Build user-friendly front-end interfaces using Angular.
• Connect services, databases, and operational systems into reliable workflows.
• Work closely with non-technical colleagues to understand their processes, challenges, and requirements.
• Translate operational needs into practical, scalable software solutions.
• Take ownership of projects from concept to deployment.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and help establish development best practices.
• Improve system reliability, maintainability, and performance.
• Support the evolution of internal tooling as Orbital Eye grows internationally.
🚀 What We're Looking For
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with modern web development.
• Experience with at least one back-end framework, such as FastAPI, Spring,
ASP.NET
, Django, Flask, or similar.
• Experience with at least one front-end framework, such as Angular, React, Vue, or similar.
• Experience working with databases and integrating services, APIs, and external systems.
• A strong back-end mindset, combined with the willingness and ability to work on front-end tasks when needed.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
• Strong communication skills and the willingness to work directly with non-technical colleagues.
• A practical, user-focused mindset: you care about building tools that genuinely improve how people work.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
Experience with the following is considered a significant asset:
• Geospatial data, GIS applications, map APIs, or tools such as Mapbox.
• Testing frameworks and automated testing practices.
• Delivering projects independently from requirements gathering through deployment.
• Acting as the primary technical contact for a project and managing stakeholder expectations.
