Senior Full Stack Developer – Java & Angular | Brussels, Belgium

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to contribute to the development of modern web applications within the healthcare sector. The role focuses on building and maintaining web components for patient referral prescriptions and integrations with healthcare-related applications, using Java, Angular and modern AI technologies.

Location: Brussels, Belgium
Work Model: Hybrid
Duration: As soon as possible until 30 June 2027
Commitment: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain web applications using Java, Spring Boot and Angular.
• Build front-end components using TypeScript, HTML, CSS/SCSS and Vue.js.
• Develop secure, scalable back-end services and application integrations.
• Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to deliver new features.
• Analyse and resolve bugs, performance issues and technical bottlenecks.
• Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) and write unit and integration tests.
• Maintain code quality, application performance, security and automation.
• Work with databases, messaging systems and search technologies.
• Apply AI development techniques, including prompt engineering, agents and MCP.
• Consider AI security, confidentiality and EU AI Act requirements.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
• Willingness to adapt to evolving AI development standards.
• Fluent in Dutch or French, with an understanding of the other language.
