Senior Full Stack Engineer

CTG is seeking to fill a Senior Full Stack Engineer position for our client.

Location: RemoteDuration: 12 months, with possibility of extension

Duties:

• Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain full-stack web applications throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Develop scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, GraphQL, JavaScript, Node.js, ReactJS, and Redux.

• Design and implement distributed systems, microservices, REST APIs, and web services.

• Develop responsive user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and modern UI design practices.

• Build and integrate event-driven solutions using Kafka and other event frameworks.

• Develop and maintain SQL-based applications and database integrations.

• Utilize Docker and container orchestration technologies to support application deployment.

• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, production issues, and deployment challenges.

• Perform unit and integration testing to ensure application quality and reliability.

• Document and communicate technical designs, standards, processes, and solutions.

• Participate in Agile development activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Continuously enhance technical skills by learning and applying relevant technologies, tools, and development patterns.

• Explore and apply cloud-native programming concepts and emerging agentic development technologies, including Claude and Copilot.

Experience:

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in a fast-paced software development environment with an in-depth understanding of web application development.

• Extensive experience with full-lifecycle software development, including design, coding, testing, debugging, deployment, and maintenance.

• Hands-on experience developing web services, with REST and Web API experience preferred.

• Experience working with distributed systems, microservices, REST services, SQL, and event-driven architectures.

• Experience working in Agile development environments.

• Experience with cloud-native application development is preferred.

• Exposure to agentic development using Claude and/or Copilot is preferred.

• Must be an excellent verbal and written communicator.

• Must have a positive attitude, be a self-starter, work effectively independently, and demonstrate a willingness to learn.

• Demonstrated passion for delivering high-quality solutions and going above and beyond to accomplish goals.

Education:

• Professional degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $70.00 to $76.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
