Senior Full-Stack Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join an experienced engineering team working on a large-scale platform used by customers around the world. This is a hands-on role focused primarily on backend development, combining work on a mature, business-critical application with the gradual modernization of selected components to .NET 8. You will work across application code, APIs, databases, and frontend technologies, taking ownership of complex technical problems from investigation through production.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain features across a large-scale .NET application, working primarily with C#, .NET Framework, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Work with a mature codebase while gradually modernizing selected components and services using .NET 8.
• Build and maintain backend services and APIs, including REST, SOAP, and GraphQL.
• Work directly with SQL Server and Entity Framework to write queries, troubleshoot data issues, and improve application performance.
• Develop frontend functionality using JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks such as React, Angular, and Knockout.
• Investigate and resolve complex technical and production issues across application, database, and infrastructure layers.
• Take end-to-end ownership of features, from technical design and implementation through testing and production support.
• Contribute to CI/CD and deployment processes, including TeamCity and Jenkins pipelines.
• Participate in architectural discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and share technical knowledge across the team.
• Use Claude Code and other AI-assisted tools as part of the everyday development process.
• Participate in a rotational on-call schedule related to production deployments, approximately once every six weeks.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET Framework, ideally with large, mature applications and established codebases.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including writing queries and troubleshooting database-related issues.
• Experience developing and maintaining Web APIs, particularly REST APIs; experience with SOAP or GraphQL is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and hands-on experience with React, Angular, or another frontend framework.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently within a complex existing system.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests and delivering maintainable, production-ready code.
• Comfortable working across different technologies and switching between backend, frontend, and database-level tasks when needed.
• Experience using Claude Code or another AI-assisted development tool to support coding, testing, or problem-solving.
