Senior Full-Stack Engineer

The Role

We are looking for a senior full-stack engineer to help build the systems that power our global operations. We need someone with product sense - who solves complex business problems with elegant technical solutions. They understand the full picture from infrastructure to the end-user experience, and have the technical maturity to create reliable, maintainable, scalable and secure production systems. They’ll work directly with the team, end-users and stakeholders to solve real business problems with full-stack, long-term ownership of the solution.

What We Are Looking For

• You can operate across the full software stack from backend to frontend and user experience
• You work closely with non-technical stakeholders, end users and the team to translate business and user needs into good technical solutions
• You are self-directed and take responsibility of the work from defining the problem through technical solution to onboarding users if needed
• You take long-term ownership of our product and developing it over time as our business evolves and we learn more
• You are fluent in English, communicate clearly, and can explain complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders
• You have a passion to continuously improve the way we do things
• You are willing to work in a hybrid model from our office in Vallila, Helsinki
  
  

It’s considered a plus if

• You have an eye for product design and UX
• You have experience with or interest towards AI-based development workflows
• You are familiar with TypeScript, Node, React, Google Cloud Platform, PostgreSQL and/or infrastructure-as-code tools

• Video call with Emil, our Head of Technology.
• Technical interview with the other developers. You will be asked to conduct a short exercise beforehand to be discussed during the interview.
