Full-Stack Engineer (TypeScript / React / Postgres)
Location: Remote (Overlap with US EST hours)

About the Project
We are building an innovative AI-driven platform that leverages generative AI and advanced retrieval frameworks to change this dynamic. Our product organizes intake, structures complex data, generates concepts, and builds physical component lists—allowing system integrators and engineers to go from a first call to a reliable concept in hours instead of days.
We have built our core MVP infrastructure and are now looking for a dedicated technical specialist to finish the final mile of the MVP, add major features from our roadmap, and launch the product into production.
The Team & Leadership
You will be working directly with our Founder & CEO, based in New York. She brings a strong background in Computer Science and product leadership from hyper-growth hardware and software startups. While she is heavily involved in high-level architecture and discussions, she is looking for an engineer who can fully own the day-to-day development lifecycle, enabling her to focus on go-to-market strategies and scaling the business.
Key Responsibilities
• Product Delivery: Own the end-to-end development of new features, moving the platform seamlessly from its current MVP state to a polished, enterprise-ready release.
• AI Integration: Integrate advanced LLMs (via OpenRouter) into our data processing workflows, refining our proprietary ranking and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems.
• Handling Physical-World Data: Solve challenging engineering problems related to dimensioning, payload curves, layouts, and compatibility specs that go far beyond standard text-based document retrieval.
• Engineering Excellence: Help establish a high-quality development culture, including robust testing, automated CI/CD practices, and AI-assisted code reviews.
Technical Requirements
• Core Stack: Strong commercial experience with TypeScript, React, and PostgreSQL.
• Data & Storage: Experience working with file storage solutions (S3 or S3-compatible storage).
• AI/ML Familiarity: Experience working with Large Language Models (OpenAI, Claude) and building/maintaining RAG models. A clear understanding of when to apply LLMs versus traditional static code or deterministic logic for calculations.
• Technical Ownership & Vision: Ability to work with our existing platform, maintaining a clean and flexible software foundation. You can deliver high-quality code that protects the proprietary nature of our software and ensures we can smoothly add new features as the product expands to its final mile.
• English: Upper-Intermediate to Advanced (B2/C1). Excellent verbal and written communication skills are mandatory, as you will directly collaborate on product architecture with the CEO.

• Autonomy: A self-starter mentality. You must be comfortable taking a loosely defined feature requirement or a roadmap milestone and turning it into clean, running code.
