We value pragmatic engineering, strong ownership, and thoughtful collaboration across product and engineering. ## Role Overview As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you’ll design and build end-to-end features across our React frontend and Node.js/TypeScript backend. You’ll work closely with product and engineering teammates to deliver reliable, scalable experiences, contribute to architectural decisions, and raise the bar on code quality and operational excellence in a globally distributed environment. ## What You’ll Do * Build and ship full-stack features using React, Node.js, and TypeScript * Design and implement APIs and services that are secure, performant, and maintainable * Model and optimize data in PostgreSQL; write efficient queries and migrations * Develop and operate cloud infrastructure on AWS (deployment, monitoring, scaling) * Collaborate with product/design to translate requirements into well-scoped technical plans * Improve engineering standards through code reviews, testing practices, and documentation * Troubleshoot production issues and drive root-cause fixes and preventative improvements * Contribute to system architecture decisions with a focus on scalability and reliability ## Required Qualifications * 5+ years of professional software engineering experience (full stack preferred) * Strong experience building web UIs with React (hooks, state management, performance) * Strong backend experience with Node.js and TypeScript (API design, service patterns) * Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL (schema design, indexing, query optimization) * Experience deploying and operating applications on AWS * Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals (testing, debugging, design patterns) * Ability to work effectively in an international, distributed team (clear written communication, ownership mindset) ## Nice to Have * Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) * Experience with observability tooling (logging, metrics, tracing) and incident response * Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, ECS/EKS, Kubernetes) * Familiarity with security best practices (authn/authz, OWASP, secrets management) * Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives ## Tech Stack * Frontend: React * Backend: Node.js, TypeScript * Database: PostgreSQL * Cloud: AWS ## Location International (remote-friendly).
