About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced, product-minded Full Stack Engineer to join us as an early engineering hire / founding engineer, building and shipping end-to-end product experiences while leveraging AI tools to accelerate development.
You’ll work across frontend, backend, cloud infrastructure, and product execution, taking ownership from idea validation and prototyping through implementation, deployment, and iteration. This is not a traditional Full Stack role; you’ll have significant autonomy in shaping our technical direction, engineering practices, and development workflows.
The ideal candidate is technically strong, proactive, product-minded, and comfortable turning ambiguous problems into practical solutions. You should be able to work independently, make thoughtful technical decisions, and balance speed, scalability, and maintainability in an early-stage environment.
Work Set-up: 100% Work from home
Work Schedule: Day Shift - 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Philippine Time) with flexible working hours.
Note: Employees may adjust their schedule, provided there is sufficient overlap with the Australian time zone (AEST) for collaboration. This is a fully remote, asynchronous work environment with no mandatory daily stand-ups, emphasizing autonomy, ownership, proactive communication, and results over hours worked.
What you’ll do (Duties and Responsibilities)
- Build and deliver end-to-end product features across frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and cloud environments.
- Develop modern web applications using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Design and implement backend services, APIs, and integrations with consideration for scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Build and deploy applications using AWS cloud services and modern development practices.
- Work with serverless architectures and event-driven systems where applicable.
- Use AI development tools as productivity multipliers — breaking down problems, generating solutions, validating outputs, and maintaining code quality.
- Prototype and iterate quickly by translating product ideas into working solutions.
- Collaborate closely with product stakeholders to understand user needs and make effective engineering decisions.
- Own the full development lifecycle including implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, debugging, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute ideas around architecture, engineering standards, and development processes.
What You Bring (Skills, Qualifications or Experience)
- Must have a minimum of 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably with experience owning or leading end-to-end software development projects across the full project lifecycle.
- Strong experience with: Node.js, React, Next.js, TypeScript
- Must have hands-on experience building and developing applications from the ground up.
- Experience working with cloud environments, preferably AWS.
- Understanding of APIs, databases, and modern software development practices.
- Comfortable using AI-powered development tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a product-oriented mindset.
- Ability to independently take ownership of features and deliver solutions.
- Experience building and maintaining web applications from frontend to backend.
