About the role
We are looking for a Software Development Engineer and Full-stack development experience with C#/.NET and modern frontend technologies.
The role focuses on designing and implementing integrations with external data sources, APIs, and specialized tools. You will investigate third-party systems, determine the most suitable integration approach, and build reliable connectors using MCP, agents, or other integration patterns.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working with unfamiliar systems, evaluating APIs and data schemas, and independently determining how external capabilities can be integrated into AI-driven workflows.


Requirements

• Strong software engineering and Full-stack development experience
• Hands-on experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol)
• Experience developing MCP Servers and/or Clients
• Practical experience with AI agents and agentic architectures
• Experience with tool calling, function calling, and AI tool/skill integrations
• Strong experience integrating external APIs and data sources
• Ability to analyze unfamiliar systems and recommend appropriate integration patterns
• Good understanding of integration architecture, reliability, and performance considerations

Nice to have

• Experience developing or integrating marketplace offerings
• Experience with complex third-party integrations
• Familiarity with scientific or data-intensive applications

Responsibilities

• Design and develop integrations with external APIs, data sources, and tools
• Build and maintain MCP Servers and MCP Clients
• Develop integrations using AI agents, tool calling, and function calling
• Evaluate external systems, APIs, and schemas to determine the appropriate integration approach
• Design and implement scalable connector architectures
• Validate integrations for functionality, reliability, and performance
• Troubleshoot integration issues and improve existing connectors
• Collaborate with engineering stakeholders on technical design and integration decisions

Availability expectations

• Regular overlap with the US Pacific Time zone, with availability until approximately 12 PM PT on a daily basis
