Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

About the Role

Join a product engineering team building AI software for designing and simulating physical systems. You will help take new products from concept to production, working closely with frontend engineers, field teams, AI researchers, and company leadership to serve industrial customers.

What You'll Do

• Work with the frontend team to improve the product interface and accelerate releases to production.

• Take end-to-end ownership of features, from architecture through deployment and reliability.

• Gradually take on more backend-focused work, including new product capabilities, infrastructure, and systems.

• Establish effective practices for developing software with AI coding agents.

• Collaborate with field teams and AI researchers to prototype and refine product ideas.

What We're Looking For

• Three to ten years of experience as a software or full stack engineer, including experience in startup environments.

• A record of building products or major features from initial concept through production, with strong ownership and adaptability.

• Backend-focused full stack experience, practical frontend skills, and the ability to review and debug AI-generated code.

• Experience with .NET, React, TypeScript, and AI coding agents.

• Background in computer vision, robotics, or autonomous systems, and an interest in physical systems, engineering design, CAD, or simulation.

• Ability to work in the United States or Canada without employer visa sponsorship.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary range: $200,000 to $275,000 USD. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Location

Remote, with the primary location in Canada. Candidates may be based in Canada or the United States and should be available to work on-site in San Mateo, California, for one week every six weeks.
