Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

About the Role

Join an early-stage AI team building software for engineering design and simulation. You will help turn new product ideas into production, taking ownership across the stack and helping the team make effective use of AI coding agents.

What You'll Do

• Work with the frontend engineer to improve the product interface and remove bottlenecks to shipping.

• Build and deliver features end to end, from architecture through deployment and reliability.

• Take on increasingly backend-focused full stack work, including new features, infrastructure, and systems.

• Establish practices for agent-driven software development and help coding agents produce reliable results.

• Collaborate with engineers, AI researchers, and product partners to prototype and refine ideas for industrial users.

What We're Looking For

• Three to ten years of software engineering experience, including full stack work with a strong backend focus and solid frontend skills.

• Experience taking products or major features from concept to production, ideally in a startup or early-stage environment.

• Ability to own architecture, deployment, and reliability, and to adapt as priorities change.

• Strong experience with .NET, React, and TypeScript, plus an active interest in using AI coding agents effectively.

• Interest in physical systems, engineering design, CAD, or simulation.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary is $200,000 to $275,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Location

Remote within Canada or the United States. The primary location is Canada, with one week onsite in San Mateo, California, approximately every six weeks.
