About the project
Stark für Kinder is a DACH-wide platform (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) that connects parents, kindergartens and schools with certified trainers and coaches in resilience, self assertion and anti-bullying programs. Many listed providers work by the well-known "Stark auch ohne Muckis" concept.
The platform has 3 sides:
- Parents & institutions search providers by postcode, country and offer type (coaching, training, seminars, online), read reviews and send inquiries to one or several providers.
- Providers (coaches/trainers) book a paid listing and get a profile page, an integrated review system, a quality seal and incoming leads via a provider dashboard.
- Content — a large SEO-driven parent guide (Elternratgeber) that brings in organic traffic.
Published figures: 20K+ monthly directory visits and 2.4K+ inquiries routed to providers (as of January 2026), 100,000+ children reached, 1,000+ schools and kindergartens served.
The role
You will lead the move of the Stark für Kinder coach platform off Webflow onto a modern, owned TypeScript stack — without losing SEO rankings, provider data or a single inquiry along the way.
Today the public site, provider directory, profile pages, search, reviews and parent guide run on Webflow CMS with add-on scripts and integrations, while providers log in to a separate dashboard. The platform has outgrown that setup: search, lead routing, reviews and provider self-service need real application logic, a proper data model and room for new features.
You will be the senior engineer owning this transition end to end: architecture, migration plan, implementation, cutover and the platform's evolution afterwards. You will work directly with the founder and product owner, as part of a dedicated uSoftware team.

Responsibilities
- Audit the current Webflow setup: CMS collections, custom code, forms, third-party scripts, provider dashboard and all integrations.
- Design the target architecture and data model for providers, profiles, offers, locations, reviews, inquiries and content.
- Build the new platform in TypeScript end to end: public site, directory and postcode/radius search, provider profiles, inquiry flow, review system, provider dashboard and admin tools.
- Plan and run the data migration from Webflow CMS, with scripts, validation and a rollback path.
- Protect SEO during the move: URL parity and 301 redirects, metadata, structured data, sitemaps, Core Web Vitals; keep the parent guide ranking.
- Set up a content workflow for non-technical editors (headless CMS or equivalent) so marketing can keep publishing without developers.
- Integrate payments and subscriptions for provider listings, transactional email, analytics and Google Maps/Places.
- Own GDPR (DSGVO) compliance in the code: consent, data minimisation, EU hosting, data retention — the platform handles data about children and families.
- Set up CI/CD, testing, monitoring and error tracking; document the system for the team that comes after.
- Plan a phased cutover with minimal downtime, then keep improving the platform once it is live.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional web development, with at least 3 years of productio TypeScript on both frontend and backend.
- Strong React and Next.js (App Router, SSR/SSG/ISR) experience on content-heavy, SEO-critical sites.
- Solid Node.js backend skills: REST or tRPC/GraphQL APIs, authentication and role based access, background jobs, webhooks.
- Relational data modelling with PostgreSQL and a modern ORM (Prisma or Drizzle).
- Proven experience migrating a live product from a no-code/low-code builder or legacy CMS (Webflow, WordPress, Wix or similar) to a custom stack, including data migration and redirects.
- Hands-on technical SEO: redirects, canonicals, structured data, sitemaps, Core Web Vitals.
- Experience with payments and subscriptions (Stripe or similar) and third-partyAPIs.
- Comfort owning infrastructure and deployment (Vercel or a cloud provider, CI/CD, monitoring).
- Working knowledge of GDPR requirements for web applications.
- Ability to work independently, make architecture decisions and explain trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
- English at B2+ level.
Nice to have
- German at any level — the product, content and users are German-speaking.
- Hands-on Webflow experience: CMS API, data export, custom code embeds.
- Headless CMS experience (Payload, Sanity, Strapi or Contentful).
- Geo search: postcode/radius queries, PostGIS, Google Maps/Places API.
- Marketplace or directory products: lead routing, reviews and moderation, two-sided user flows.
- Search engines such as Meilisearch, Typesense orAlgolia.
- Internationalisation for DE/AT/CH content.
- Background in EdTech, healthcare or other products handling sensitive data about minors.
