ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:
- As a Senior Functional analyst, part of Billing domain, you will have a thorough knowledge of the company’s Kenan Billing system and its integration with CRM, Ordering, and Financial Systems and work directly under FCLS/Billing Domain Manager. You will have a sound understanding of SITA Billing system implemented solution under Kenan FX7 (Amdocs) and application integrations end to end view.
- Your role encompasses the understanding and validation of both Business and Technical requirements around SITA Billing system, assessing system impacts, as well as critically evaluating and providing input on supplier-provided solutions. You will be required to engage in essential functional support tasks for the billing application, including but not limited to support and functional & system testing, operational production monitoring, and participating in functional and system impact analyses, all within the guidelines of SITA's established standards and procedures. You will also actively contribute to the adoption of AI capabilities within the Billing Domain, supporting the evolution towards automated and intelligent billing processes.
Qualifications
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Participate and contribute on workshops to understand and scope Billing business requirements or any technical requirements.
- Review and challenge Business requirements and the proposed technical solutions in coordination with the stakeholders, liaising with technical teams to understand impacts on the system, process simplification, verify/complete acceptance criteria and test cases.
- Proactively suggest ways to improve the service to Billing end users, either via application improvements or process changes and optimization.
- Actively participate in System Integration, Functional and System testing as well as UAT support with Billing team and/or any third-party service/application providers and verify requirements adherence to the delivered solution (acceptance criteria).
- Ensure, verify and maintain all relevant Billing application documentation (Functional and Technical specification, Release Notes, User Guide, Test Plan, etc.) as per the requirements.
- Actively participate in Business & impact Analysis, write specifications, participate in POC on Kenan FX7 for multiple small/medium projects.
- Support on identifying and defining Billing related AI use cases, such as Billing anomaly detection, Revenue leakage, Proforma validation and test automation and support the integration of AI capabilities into Billing processes, including Copilot / Generative AI assistants.
- Work in an Agile environment, actively participate in DevOps daily meetings with suppliers and review stories prioritization, sprint scope review and alignment.
- Work effectively with teams across Finance, Ordering, Sales and Billing that may be local or distant and ensure transversal coordination/communication to align common understanding.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 8 years’ IT experience with proven experience of OSS/BSS domains specifically on Telecom Billing systems. Having actively participated in Kenan FX (Amdocs) implementations and testing is mandatory.
- Proven experience across Billing domain (Bill to cash) and mainly: Products, CMS, Pricing, Rating models, RC/NRC charges, Usage, Taxation models, Discounts, Billing, Invoicing, Adjustments and Accounting and Finance integration and able to deep in depth and understand functional specificities of SITA overall billing solutions.
- Proven experience in Business Analysis and testing around Billing process and ERP integration.
- Experience or strong interest in AI‑enabled solutions within enterprise systems
- Demonstrate ability to actively support application teams (internal / supplier), to work under pressure during bill cycles, accept multi-tasking and priority changes and be flexible and innovative on finding solutions and technical initiatives to adapt to the new context.
- Experience in Agile framework and ITIL processes and understanding of SDLC models and Azure DevOps practices would be a must.
- Knowledge of Unix shell scripting, development of Java, using REST APIs for testing.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels i.e., in detail with technical staff/providers and in summary with senior management.
- University Software Engineer or Computer Science degree or equivalent.
- Fluent in English.
