About The Opportunity


As a Senior Functional Consultant, you will drive the strategy of the Client solution, relative processes, configurations, and add ons to provide a Remarkable Client Experience. This includes providing tailored best practices and approaches to complex business use cases and needs, developing a configuration and business process strategy, and managing the Kantata implementation process.


Primary Responsibilities


Delivery:

  • Lead the solution strategy for the core Kantata solution liaising where needed with other delivery specialists to ensure a coherent, consistent and effective solution and implementation program.

  • Understand Kantata’s technology, product offerings, service offerings, and industries served. Collaborate with the project team and client to understand all technical aspects and ensure the quality of deliverables.

  • Identify, assess and solve complex business problems. Understand our clients’ business requirements and objectives while ensuring alignment with Kantata's solution and best practices to drive desired business results.

  • Drive deployment activities such as requirements gathering, functional design, system testing, user acceptance testing, issue troubleshooting and resolution, change management, and training.

  • Perform the full configuration of Kantata required for the deployment of the solution including custom reports, integrations, and data migrations as needed.

  • Consult on both industry and Kantata best practices related to our clients.

  • Effectively manage own tasks, task timelines and estimated remaining effort for services projects.

  • Leverage Kantata’s implementation methodology and best practices to drive an efficient and successful Client implementation.

  • Achieve high client success within the context of the project scope.

Tool Development:

  • Contribute to the consultant tool set by identifying trends and facilitating updates to current tools and/or new tool development including (but not limited to)internal and external documentation as well as process improvements.

Practice Development:

  • Seek opportunities to identify and foster improvements to organizational methodology, processes and practices

  • Participate in the ongoing improvement of the Kantata product suite and the services implementation methodology. Build and share repeatable processes and quality deliverables that may be leveraged across multiple projects to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Teamwork:

  • Foster collaboration and teamwork through sharing experiences, information, perspectives, skills, and expertise.


What You Bring To The Role


Experience – Non-Technical

  • Designing, configuring, and deploying SaaS-based software solutions, including custom reports/dashboards.

  • Experience implementing a Professional Services Automation (PSA) solution (preferred).

  • Implementing software with a demonstrated ability to execute to project plans, produce client facing deliverables

  • Leading solution design workshops, defining business requirements and proposing business processes

  • Documenting business requirements, business processes and technical specifications

  • Building strong client relationships/partnerships with the consistent ability to keep the needs of the client at the forefront of his or her actions

  • Working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with autonomy

  • Tackling difficult and complex problems

  • Understanding scope management and how to identify potential risks to scope

  • Domain knowledge of services sales, financials and operations

Experience - Technical

  • Designing, configuring, and deploying SaaS based software solutions on the Salesforce Platform (preferred)

  • Using or implementing common business applications

  • Using or implementing common system integration methods and technologies including Web services preferred

  • Working with relational databases and data interdependence preferred

  • Using or implementing cloud-based or on-premise applications and architectures - web services, APIs and XML/JSON data structures is a plus.

  • Translating AI capabilities into business outcomes clients actually care about (efficiency gains, cost reduction, faster time-to-value)

  • Ethical awareness around AI — understanding limitations, bias risks, and when human judgment is essential

  • Staying current on AI developments relevant to professional services and SaaS delivery


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree required; B.Tech or equivalent qualification preferred.

  • 10+ years industry experience in a customer-facing technical field such as professional services, consulting or technical support

  • Broad technical knowledge of internet based products and technologies.


Compensation:


  • Base pay for this role is: $95k - 115k

  • This role is eligible for a company bonus
