About Aura Play

Aura Play is an iGaming game provider developing and delivering original games for operators, aggregators, and gaming platforms worldwide.

We are looking for a Senior Game Developer to join our game development team and help build high-quality, performant, and engaging HTML5 games across desktop and mobile platforms.

What you'll do

• Design and develop HTML5 games using PixiJS, TypeScript and WebGL.
• Build reusable and scalable game systems, components, and frameworks.
• Implement game mechanics, animations, UI, transitions, effects, and interactions.
• Work closely with Game Designers, Artists, Backend Developers and QA to bring games from concept to production.
• Integrate game logic with backend APIs and game/RGS services.
• Optimize games for mobile and desktop browsers, including performance, memory usage, rendering and loading times.
• Implement responsive layouts for different screen sizes and orientations.
• Work with sprites, sprite sheets, texture atlases, Spine animations and particle effects.
• Implement audio, animations, game states, bonus features and user interactions.
• Integrate RNG/game logic services and ensure correct communication between the frontend game and backend systems.
• Debug complex gameplay and rendering issues across browsers and devices.
• Review code and maintain high development standards.
• Help establish reusable architecture and coding standards for future Aura Play games.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers when required.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional game development experience.
• Strong experience with TypeScript / JavaScript.
• Strong hands-on experience with PixiJS.
• Solid understanding of WebGL and browser-based rendering.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5 game development.
• Experience building games from start to production.
• Strong understanding of:
• Game loops
• State management
• Animation systems
• Collision/interactions
• Asset management
• Event systems
• Responsive scaling
• Performance optimization
• Experience with Git and modern development workflows.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of mobile browser limitations and cross-browser compatibility.

• Experience in iGaming / casino / slot game development.
• Experience with RGS or game-server integrations.
• Experience with Spine 2D animations.
• Experience with GSAP or similar animation libraries.
• Experience with Node.js.
• Experience working with REST APIs or WebSockets.
• Experience with AWS / cloud-based game deployments.
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD.
• Knowledge of casino game mechanics such as Slots, Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, Crash and Instant Games.
• Experience with RNG-based games and mathematical game logic.
