Senior Game Explorer

As a Senior Game Explorer on the Product & Market Insights team, you will play a key role in analyzing competitor games and generating gameplay insights. Through hands-on exploration of a wide range of games and apps, you will collect benchmark data that supports product strategy, market analysis, and decision-making. In this role, you will spend significant time playing games, testing different player journeys, documenting gameplay behaviors, and capturing detailed data. Your findings will help the team identify trends, evaluate game mechanics, and uncover opportunities to improve player experiences and drive product innovation. What you'll do Play a wide variety of F2P mobile apps and Slots games every day Collect hyper-detailed gameplay data about level progression, resource types & costs, live ops events, sales & CRM offer details, marketing messages, and more Define experimental changes to gameplay behavior to meet learning objectives Monitor key competitor apps for a variety of changes, tracking over time Collaborate with other Game Explorers, Data Science, and Insights Analysts Maintain a library of custom player profiles that simulate realistic behaviors Present data and lightweight analysis findings to analysts and collaborators Job Qualifications (What we’re looking for) Proven experience as a QA Tester, Game Tester, or similar role preferred Advanced data entry and intermediate skills in Google Sheets or Excel required Demonstrated ability to repeatedly collect high-quality, high-precision data Able to design new projects to satisfy learning objectives without direct guidance Proven ability to communicate nuanced or complex topics directly to stakeholders Can organizes and lead discipline peers to deliver projects on time and on budget Working proficiency in English language required This opportunity will suit you if you’re… Passion for Games – Experienced playing mobile games deeply every day Reliable & Organized – Excellent time management skills & attention to detail Detailed – Strong written and visual descriptive communication skills Inquisitive – Enjoys creative problem solving and discovering new things Flexible – Adaptable to constantly evolving responsibilities and project objectives Why Product Madness ?
