BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 6+ years of overall professional experience in software or machine learning engineering. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field. 2+ years of relevant, hands-on experience with Generative AI , including: Building, optimizing, and deploying RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines. In-depth experience with agentic frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex). Experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Qdrant, pgvector). Expert-level proficiency in Python and object-oriented design. Demonstrated experience with core AWS services for compute and deployment (e.g., EKS, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway ). Strong understanding of API development (REST) and building microservices. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Deep, hands-on experience with the AWS AI/ML stack : Amazon Bedrock , Amazon Kendra , and Amazon Textract . Proven track record of building and deploying complex, multi-step AI orchestrations (agentic planners) that call multiple tools and external APIs. Experience in building custom AI/ML "skills" or models to handle domain-specific data analysis. Hands-on experience with MLOps and cloud infrastructure: Docker , Kubernetes , CI/CD , AWS Secrets Manager , and Amazon CloudWatch . Familiarity with integrating AI systems with enterprise platforms (e.g., NetSuite, or similar). Experience working in an agile environment to deliver high-quality code and rapidly iterate on new, high-impact products.
