Find me a jobWe are seeking a Senior Go Developer with strong AWS capabilities to join our team as a senior consultant, driving the modernization of a large-scale SaaS platform by migrating it from Azure/Databricks to AWS. This role combines the wide-ranging responsibilities of a Cloud Infrastructure Architect with focused modernization skills in containers, Databricks on AWS, and Go-based services. The successful candidate will have complete ownership of the EC2 estate and will play a key role in shaping the migration strategy.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end modernization initiative, migrating workloads from Azure/Databricks to AWS
- Design, build, and maintain large-scale Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform
- Own the EC2 estate and all related infrastructure components in full
- Build and manage Amazon EKS clusters, covering application onboarding and day-2 operations
- Set up and integrate Databricks within AWS, defining workspace and cluster design patterns
- Develop Go-based services and tools to support modernization initiatives
- Carry out cross-cloud data migrations using AWS Database Migration Service (DMS)
- Manage Active Directory synchronization, file system migrations, and application onboarding processes
- Apply CIA expertise across networking, compute, storage, and automation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define migration scope and lead IaC and data migration execution
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and modernization projects
- Basic understanding of LLM/AI engineering concepts, including prompt design, RAG pipelines, agentic patterns, tool usage, and LLM evaluation techniques
- Proficient in Go programming along with IaC tools such as CDK and Terraform CDK
- Extensive experience with Terraform and large-scale Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies
- Strong background in Amazon EKS, including cluster setup, application onboarding, and day-2 operations management
- Practical experience with Databricks on AWS, including workspace setup, cluster design, and integration
- Familiarity with AWS IAM and related security best practices
- Experience handling Active Directory synchronization, file system migrations, and application onboarding
- Demonstrated capability in managing large-scale EC2 environments with strong automation skills across networking, compute, and storage
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills (B2+ level)
