Senior Golang Developer Apply We are looking for a Senior Golang Developer 🗣️ Language Proficiency: Intermediate 🌍 Candidate Location: EU, Georgia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Moldova 🕐 Working Time Zone: CET 🧭 Planned Work Duration: 6 months 👥 Customer Description: The customer is a global mobility and urban services platform that enables users to book rides and other services. 🧩 Project Description: The project focuses on enhancing a high-load fleet management platform for ride-hailing operations across multiple countries. ⚙️ Project Phase: Ongoing 🤝 Soft Skills: • Ability to explain, at any level of detail, the architecture of projects. • Ability to independently drive ambiguous problems to a solution by clarifying requirements. 💡 Hard Skills / Must Have: • 5+ years of commercial backend engineering experience in production environments. • Strong Go expertise, including concurrency, synchronization primitives, context propagation, goroutine lifecycle management, and graceful shutdown patterns. • Experience building and supporting high-load distributed systems. • Recent product development experience involving complex business logic and evolving requirements. • Strong SQL and data modelling skills, including schema design, joins, aggregations, composite indexes, data type selection, query analysis, and scaling strategies such as replication, partitioning, and sharding. • Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL. • Strong understanding of caching strategies, including Redis. • Experience with synchronous and asynchronous inter-service communication, including gRPC and message brokers. • Deep understanding of microservice architecture patterns and efficient client-server interactions. • Hands-on experience with observability tools and practices, including metrics, logging, distributed tracing, alerting,. • Understanding of non-functional requirements, SLA, SLO, and SLI. • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms. • Ability to write maintainable, testable code with solid unit and integration test coverage. • Proficiency with Git and modern code review workflows •Russian language proficiency is required 📌 Responsibilities and Tasks: • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and reliable backend services according to business needs. • Drive technical research, architecture design, and implementation of backend services and new features. • Actively participate in code reviews and architectural discussions. • Write clean, effective, and maintainable code in accordance with company standards. • Take ownership of the backend services lifecycle, including delivery, monitoring, and production maintenance. • Set up and maintain observability infrastructure, including metrics, logging, dashboards, and tracing. • Mentor and guide other engineers, advocating for best practices and high standards. • Participate in Agile practices. 🧪 Technology Stack: Golang, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL 📞 Interview stages: • English check (15 minutes) • internal technical interview (1-1,5 hour) • client interview (1 hour) • client interview – cultural fit (45 minutes) 📩 Ready to Join?
