Role Overview
We're looking for an experienced Google Ads Media Buyer who lives in Demand Gen and Display, running static ads to direct-response funnels like advertorials, listicles, and comparison pages.
You should have hands-on experience driving cold traffic at scale, running multiple angles into matching landing pages, and obsessing over ad-to-page congruency to keep funnels converting as spend climbs.
Hands-on experience managing at least six figures in monthly ad spend on a single account is required, along with a clear understanding of what it takes to scale cold traffic profitably.
Broader Google Ads experience (Search, Performance Max, Shopping) is a plus, but this role centers on static Demand Gen and Display feeding advertorial and comparison funnels.
This is ideal for someone who enjoys analyzing data, testing angles aggressively, and collaborating closely with creative strategists to continuously improve funnel performance.
This is a fully remote position.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, manage, and scale Google Demand Gen and Display campaigns for ecommerce brands
- Drive cold traffic profitably while maintaining target CPA, ROAS, or MER
- Run multiple creative angles into matching advertorials, listicles, and comparison pages, maintaining tight ad-to-page congruency
- Develop and execute static ad testing plans in close collaboration with creative strategists
- Scale winning angle-to-funnel combinations while protecting efficiency
- Analyze campaign and funnel performance and identify opportunities for growth
- Launch and manage A/B tests across angles, audiences, static creatives, bidding strategies, and landing pages
- Monitor account health, pacing, and budget allocation
- Build reports and communicate insights to internal team members
- Identify performance bottlenecks across the full ad-and-funnel journey and develop solutions
- Stay current with Google Ads platform updates, automation features, and best practices
- Contribute to improving internal media buying systems and processes
- Qualifications & Requirements3+ years of hands-on Google Ads media buying experience
- Extensive experience running Demand Gen and/or Display campaigns with static creative
- Proven experience driving cold traffic to direct-response funnels (advertorials, listicles, comparison / pre-sell pages)
- Demonstrated experience running multiple angles into matching landing pages for congruency
- Proven experience managing $100,000+ USD per month on a single ecommerce account
- Strong understanding of attribution, conversion tracking, and performance analysis
- Track record of scaling cold traffic profitably
- Comfortable making decisions based on data rather than assumptions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
