The Role
We are seeking an exceptionally talented and experienced Senior Graphic Designer to join our dedicated, on-site team in Athens. This is a crucial full-time position where you will be instrumental in conceptualizing and executing high-level design projects across multiple mediums, from branding and digital campaigns to packaging, print and motion graphics.
This role requires a designer who is a strategic thinker, a visual innovator, and a proven leader capable of elevating the quality of work for our most demanding clients.
You will be leading a team of talented and motivated professionals, in need of creative inspiration and innovative leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, develop, and execute high-quality creative concepts that meet strategic marketing objectives.
- Lead design projects from brief to final delivery, ensuring creative excellence, technical accuracy, and adherence to deadlines.
- Collaborate closely with the Creative Director, Account Managers, Web Developers and Copywriters to maintain a unified creative vision.
- Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback to elevate the team's overall output.
- Present and articulate creative concepts effectively to both internal teams and clients.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design tools, and best practices.
Mandatory Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who is deeply rooted in the Athenian creative scene and ready to commit long-term:
- Residence & Availability: Must currently live in Athens, Greece, and be willing to work full-time (Monday to Friday, 10:00 am – 6:00 pm) in a hybrid model (4 days on-site / 1 day remotely). Remote applications will not be considered, on-site presence is mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven professional experience as a Graphic Designer / Art Director with a significant portion of that time spent in a recognized top-tier agency.
- Portfolio: An exceptional, well-curated portfolio showcasing a strong understanding of branding, typography, layout, and sophisticated visual communication.
- Up-to-date knowledge of all creative platforms and AI technologies for creative professionals, is a must.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Expertise in brand identity development, corporate design, and guidelines creation.
- Strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with digital design, including UI/UX principles for websites and mobile applications.
- Familiarity with motion graphics (e.g., After Effects) is a distinct advantage.
- Fluency in Greek and English (both written and verbal).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Experience with use of AI technology and implementation in design projects (OpenAI, Adobe Firefly, Google Gemini etc.).
