We need someone who can make people stop scrolling.

Not because the design is loud for no reason. Not because someone added three gradients and called it creativity but because you know how to take an idea, turn it into something visually clear, interesting and unmistakably Breet.

At Breet, we're building products that make crypto spendable for individuals and businesses across Africa. We need a Senior Graphic Designer who can help us bring that story to life across campaigns, social media, product launches, brand assets and everything in between.

If your Canva skills have long graduated into something more serious, your portfolio has personality and you know the difference between “make it pop” and an actual design brief, this might be your thing.

What You'll Do

You'll be one of the people responsible for making sure Breet looks as good as the things we're building.

You’ll:

• Turn briefs, rough ideas and business objectives into strong creative concepts.
• Create graphics and layouts for social media, digital campaigns, websites, product launches, presentations, events and print materials.
• Develop visuals that communicate clearly while still making people want to look twice.
• Work with Copywriters, Marketing, Product and other teams to bring ideas to life.
• Pitch your design concepts and explain the thinking behind your creative decisions.
• Help maintain and evolve Breet’s visual identity across different platforms and touchpoints.
• Select colours, fonts, photography, layouts and other design elements that make support the message.
• Design materials for both digital and print without losing the plot when the format changes.
• Review your work critically, identify what isn’t working and make improvements before delivery.
• Make revisions based on feedback while maintaining the quality and intent of the original concept.
• Retouch, edit and manipulate images where necessary.
• Explore new visual styles, formats and creative tools that could make Breet's communication stronger.
• Keep design files, source files and digital assets organised, properly stored and easy to find.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines without needing someone to chase you every five minutes.
• Work with external creative partners, printers, photographers or other vendors when required.
• Help establish and maintain creative processes, templates and brand guidelines.
• Share ideas, give useful feedback and contribute to a creative team that is always trying to do better.
• Create and maintain useful templates and design resources that improve the team’s workflow.
• Take ownership of assigned design projects from brief through to final delivery.

What We're Looking For

We’re looking for someone with visual taste, solid technical skill and enough confidence to say, “This design isn't there yet” before everyone else has to.

You should have:

• 5+ years of professional graphics design experience.
• A strong portfolio showing branding, digital campaigns, social media, print and other creative work.
• Strong knowledge of typography, colour, composition, layout and visual hierarchy.
• Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
• Experience with Figma or other collaborative design tools.
• Experience working with established brand guidelines and maintaining visual consistency.
• The ability to take a vague brief and turn it into something clear, thoughtful and visually strong.
• Good communication skills and the ability to explain your creative decisions.
• The confidence to pitch ideas and receive feedback without taking it personally.
• Good project management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Strong attention to detail.
• The ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from brief to final delivery.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in fintech, crypto, tech or a fast-paced startup.
• Motion graphics, animation or video editing skills.
• Familiarity with After Effects, Premiere Pro or CapCut.
• Experience designing for product launches or integrated marketing campaigns.
• Basic understanding of UX/UI design.
• Illustration skills.
