Senior Growth Engineer | AI Infrastructure / Developer Tools_SO

We are looking for a Senior Growth Engineer who combines strong full-stack engineering skills with a proven ability to drive product-led growth (PLG). This is a hands-on engineering role focused on how developers discover, adopt, activate and expand their use of an AI infrastructure platform. You will own growth initiatives across the whole product experience, from signup and onboarding to activation, conversion and upgrades. You will find opportunities on your own, build solutions, run experiments and measure the results. You will work directly with company leadership and have a lot of ownership over what you build and how success is measured. Please note that this is a growth engineering position, not a growth marketing role.

Its platform helps developers and AI agents turn web content into clean, structured, LLM-ready data through a powerful API, so they don't need to build and maintain complex web-scraping infrastructure. The company has reached eight figures in annual recurring revenue and has a fast-growing open-source developer community. The team is small and highly technical, with strong momentum in the AI ecosystem. This is a chance to have an immediate impact on both the product and the company's growth.

You have:

• Strong production experience with React, TypeScript, Next.js and Node.js
• A proven ability to build, ship and maintain full-stack production applications on your own
• Experience personally owning and shipping end-to-end PLG features that produced measurable results
• Specific examples of growth features you built, including the metrics you improved and the before-and-after results
• Hands-on experience designing and running A/B tests or growth experiments
• Experience using experiment results and product data to guide decisions
• Experience building developer-facing products, APIs, SDKs or technical SaaS
• Strong product judgment and the ability to scope and ship work without detailed specs or a dedicated PM
• Experience as a hands-on individual contributor who owns product and engineering outcomes
• Regular use of AI coding tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot or Claude Code
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup in the San Francisco Bay Area (relocating on your own if needed)

Nice to have:

• About 5–12 years of full-stack engineering experience
• Experience at an early-stage or growth-stage startup
• Background in developer tools, developer infrastructure or product-led SaaS
• Experience with Tailwind CSS, PostgreSQL and Vercel
• Experience with SQL, funnel analysis, event tracking and analytics tools such as PostHog, Mixpanel or Amplitude
• Experience building internal tools for product or growth teams
• Experience building applications with LLMs or the Anthropic API
• Experience working in small, highly autonomous engineering teams

What to do:

• Build and improve signup, onboarding, activation, conversion and upgrade experiences
• Own growth features end to end, from finding the opportunity and scoping the solution to building, deploying and measuring it
• Design, implement and analyze A/B tests and product growth experiments
• Find friction points in the developer journey and build solutions that improve adoption and conversion
• Work directly with leadership to set growth priorities and shape the product roadmap
• Use product analytics, event tracking and experiment data to guide engineering decisions
• Build full-stack product experiences with React, TypeScript, Next.js and Node.js
• Build internal tools and systems that help product and growth teams move faster
• Use AI coding tools to speed up development and improve engineering workflows
• Iterate quickly based on measurable product outcomes and developer feedback
