Working closely with HR, IT, and business stakeholders, you will play a key role in shaping the future HR operating model, driving process improvements, and supporting the delivery of HR transformation initiatives. The role is predominantly remote, with occasional travel to Hamburg required to facilitate workshops and engage with key stakeholders.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HR transformation professional who enjoys working across target operating model design, process optimisation, business analysis, and change delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with HR, business, and technology stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops to assess current-state processes and define future-state HR operating models.
  • Lead process mapping and process improvement activities across key HR functions.
  • Support the design and implementation of HR transformation initiatives and HR technology solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and user stories where required.
  • Conduct gap analyses and identify opportunities for process standardisation and operational efficiency.
  • Support testing activities, including test planning, execution, defect management, and business sign-off.
  • Assist with change impact assessments, training materials, and business readiness activities.
  • Produce high-quality project documentation, including process maps, requirements documentation, and stakeholder communications.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across HR, Finance, IT, and business leadership teams.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Essential

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Analyst, HR Transformation Consultant, or HR Process Lead.
  • Strong experience in HR transformation programmes, including process design and operating model development.
  • Demonstrated expertise in facilitating workshops and gathering requirements from diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Experience mapping and optimising end-to-end HR processes.
  • Knowledge of HR systems and technology implementations, such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Dayforce, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and evolving programme environment.
  • Experience supporting testing, training, and change management activities.

Desirable

  • Previous experience working within multinational organisations.
  • Familiarity with German HR processes and ways of working.
  • Experience supporting large-scale HR operating model or shared services transformations.
  • German language skills.
  • Consulting background or experience working on client-facing transformation programmes.
