Position Summary:
The Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) is a strategic partner who helps leaders and teams thrive. Working across the organization, this role influences people, talent, and organizational strategies that support the Foundation's mission and long-term success. The Senior HRBP serves as a trusted advisor, driving consultative solutions that enhance employee experience, strengthen organizational effectiveness, and ensure the Foundation is positioned to meet evolving workforce and business needs.This is a hybrid role based in Bethesda and requires 1 day per week in the Bethesda office.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as a strategic HR partner, proactively understanding business needs, organizational dynamics, and workforce priorities to inform HR strategy and solutions.
- Partners with leaders to assess organizational effectiveness, workforce planning needs, team structures, and talent strategies that enable achievement of Foundation objectives.
- Help shape and execute talent strategies that attract, develop, engage, and retain top talent.
- Provide consultative guidance and subject matter expertise across HR disciplines, delivering solutions that enhance employee experience and organizational effectiveness.
- Design, implement, and continuously improve HR programs, policies, and processes to drive consistency, compliance, and positive employee experience.
- Leverage HR systems, data, and analytics to identify trends, evaluate program effectiveness, and recommend data-informed solutions.
- Apply emerging HR technologies, including AI, to enhance HR processes, improve decision-making, and elevate employee experience.
- Lead HR initiatives and projects with an integrated approach, ensuring cross-functional alignment, efficiency, and scalability.
- Lead change management efforts related to organizational, workforce, and HR initiatives, driving stakeholder engagement, adoption, and sustainable outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across all levels of the organization, fostering collaboration and influencing outcomes through partnership and trust.
- Ensure HR practices are compliant with applicable laws and regulations, partnering with Legal and other stakeholders to mitigate risk and uphold standards.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or related field. Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience supporting the employee life cycle; experience in multiple HR disciplines preferred.
- SHRM-CP or SHRMP SCP certification is desired.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand organizational priorities, stakeholder needs, and workforce dynamics, and translate them into actionable HR strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships and influence outcomes through collaboration, integration, and effective cross-functional partnership.
- Demonstrated ability to influence decisions, challenge thinking constructively, and build alignment among diverse stakeholders. Experience leveraging HR systems, data, and analytics to assess trends, measure effectiveness, and inform decision-making.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
- Reports to the Senior Director, Human Resources Strategy & Effectiveness. No direct reports.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, and temperature.
- Moderate travel to conferences and meetings, as necessary.

The salary range is $122,500 to $153,000.00. Specific salary varies based on geographic location and is commensurate with experience.
