We’re looking for a Senior HR Generalist to strengthen company culture, support employees and people leaders, and improve everyday people practices.

Your primary focus will be culture and engagement, employee relations and performance management. You’ll work alongside HR colleagues who manage recruitment, onboarding, payroll and HR operations.

What You’ll Do:

1. Culture & Employee Engagement – Implement meaningful engagement and recognition initiatives, reinforce company values, gather employee feedback and follow through on agreed improvements.
2. Employee Relations – Handle routine workplace concerns, support managers in employee discussions, maintain appropriate documentation and escalate sensitive matters.
3. Performance Management – Support our appraisal process, guide managers on clear, evidence-based feedback and track agreed performance actions.
4. Learning & Development Support – Consolidate learning needs from department heads and performance reviews, and recommend priority initiatives.
5. HR Collaboration & Improvement – Coordinate assigned projects, analyse HR information and recommend practical improvements.

What You Bring:

1. Education & Experience – Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience, with at least four years of HR experience covering employee relations and performance management.
2. HR Knowledge & Judgement – Working knowledge of Malaysian employment requirements and HR practices, with the ability to handle routine employee concerns objectively and recognise when escalation is needed.
3. Communication & People Skills – Approachable and empathetic, with strong listening and communication skills to support employee discussions and guide managers on constructive performance feedback.
4. Culture & Analytical Skills – Able to translate employee feedback and HR information into practical improvements. Experience implementing culture or engagement initiatives is an advantage.
5. Organisation & Ownership – Proactive, dependable and organised, with the ability to coordinate initiatives, manage priorities and follow through while maintaining confidentiality.
6. Systems & Reporting Skills – Proficient in HR systems, spreadsheets and Google Workspace or similar productivity tools, with the ability to prepare clear reports and employee communications.
