Senior IAM Engineer – Ping Identity

Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Salary: Not a constraint for the right candidate!

Experience: 6-8 years.

Hybrid: 2 days Work from Home 3 days Work from Office

Your Profile & DNA:

We are looking for an experienced Senior IAM Engineer to design, implement and support secure authentication and authorisation solutions within a complex enterprise environment.

You will work hands-on with PingFederate and PingAccess, IAM protocols including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, FIDO2 and SSO, and Java development. You will also develop and maintain custom Ping adapters, plugins and integrations using the Ping SDK, while working with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualification & Experience

• Hands-on experience with PingFederate and PingAccess
• Strong knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, FIDO2 and SSO
• Solid Java development skills, preferably within Ping Identity environments
• Experience developing and maintaining custom Ping adapters, plugins and integrations using the Ping SDK
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience with enterprise authentication and federation solutions

Nice to Have

• Experience with Groovy scripting
• Experience with additional Ping Identity products
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID
• Broader experience across IAM and identity federation environments
• Familiarity with integrating Ping Identity solutions with other enterprise platforms and identity services

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Identity & Access Management
• Proven experience working with enterprise authentication and federation solutions
• Demonstrated hands-on experience designing, implementing and supporting IAM solutions
• Experience working with PingFederate and PingAccess in enterprise environments
• Practical experience with Java development and custom IAM integrations
• Experience troubleshooting complex authentication, authorisation and federation issues
• Experience working in environments using DevOps and CI/CD practices
