Salary: £55,000 to £60,000 + Benefits
Home based in England, Scotland or Wales with regular national travel, this could include weekly overnight stays

We are looking for a Senior Industry and Portfolio Manager to lead the growth and development of EAL’s Building Services Engineering portfolio. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong industry experience who can turn market insight into commercially successful products. You will build influential relationships across the sector, shape the future direction of the portfolio and lead a team committed to delivering an excellent service to centres and employers.

About the role

You will lead the growth and development of EAL’s market leading Building Services Engineering portfolio. Using your industry knowledge and stakeholder relationships, you will develop commercial growth strategies and work with Product and wider teams to create a forward looking portfolio that meets the changing needs of the market.

You will draw on customer, competitor and market insight to develop commercially viable products, produce business cases and monitor portfolio performance. Building strong relationships with employers and industry stakeholders will be central to the role, helping you gather insight, test new products and ensure the portfolio remains relevant and competitive.

You will also oversee the financial performance of the portfolio, identify opportunities and risks, and remain up to date with regulatory, industry and government policy. Alongside this, you will lead and develop the Building Services Engineering Technical Advisors, supporting consistently high quality delivery for centres and employers.

About you

You will bring extensive Building Services Engineering industry knowledge, gained through direct employment within the sector. You will understand the evolving apprenticeship, further education, higher education and commercial landscape, including how technical learning is delivered in further education.

You will have experience of developing and implementing industry strategies, together with a successful record of building productive stakeholder relationships and leading remote teams to achieve high quality results. You will also understand the principles and practice of vocational assessment.

A confident communicator and effective influencer, you will be comfortable presenting to senior teams and building positive relationships at every level. You will be organised, able to manage competing priorities and approach challenges with sound judgement and close attention to detail.
