You will collaborate directly with engineering teams, stakeholders and leadership, with the autonomy to influence technical direction and leave a lasting engineering footprint.

This is a stable, long-term assignment focused on the same cloud environments. Your work will remain centred on this defined infrastructure, allowing you to develop deep technical knowledge, build trusted relationships and influence its long-term roadmap.

Cloud infrastructure is the primary focus. You will also work alongside our Cybersecurity team, contributing to cloud security architecture, technical security decisions and the evaluation of future security technologies.

  • Manage infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Design and maintain CI/CD workflows using GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Actions.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, alerting and observability using Datadog and AWS native services.
  • Support and optimize Amazon RDS, MongoDB and MongoDB Atlas, including availability, backups, monitoring and disaster recovery.
  • Manage Cloudflare services, including DNS, CDN, WAF.
  • Improve IAM, secrets management, encryption, networking and least-privilege access.
  • Build automation that reduces manual effort, operational risk and cloud costs.
  • Lead incident investigation, root-cause analysis and continuous service improvement.
  • Maintain architecture documentation, runbooks and technical decisions through Jira and Confluence.
  • Communicate technical risks, recommendations and trade-offs clearly.
  • Contribute to cloud security controls and the evaluation of security technologies.

Our environment includes AWS, Terraform, GitHub Enterprise, Datadog, Cloudflare, Amazon RDS, MongoDB Atlas, Docker, Jira, Confluence, Google Cloud and AI-assisted engineering tools such as Claude Code.

  • Strong hands-on experience designing and operating production environments on AWS
  • Solid experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud networking and cloud architecture.
  • Experience with CI/CD, Git and modern software-delivery workflows.
  • Experience with monitoring, logging and observability platforms.
  • Good understanding of IAM, secrets management and cloud security principles.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to take ownership from technical design through production operation.
  • Strong communication skills, professional working proficiency in English and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon EKS or Amazon ECS.
  • Familiarity with Cloudflare, Datadog, Amazon RDS or MongoDB Atlas.
  • Knowledge of AWS multi-account architecture, FinOps or cloud cost optimization.
  • Interest or experience in cloud security and cybersecurity technologies.
  • Relevant AWS, Google Cloud, Kubernetes or Terraform certifications.

Working arrangements and benefits

  • Gross annual base salary of €50,000–€60,000, depending on experience and technical expertise.
  • 100% remote working with flexibility around agreed core collaboration hours.
  • Opportunity to participate in a structured on-call rotation, compensated separately from the base salary.
  • 25 days of annual leave.
  • Private medical insurance.
  • A dedicated budget for technical training and professional certifications.
  • Access to Pluralsight, A Cloud Guru, O’Reilly Learning or another professional learning platform of your choice.
  • A latest generation MacBook Pro and high-quality peripheral equipment.
