Overview
The Senior Integrations Engineer is a member of the Integrations team, reporting to the Director, Integrations. The Integrations team is responsible for working with the Implementation, Engineering and Data Analytics teams to support data requirements across the CMX organization. Primary goals include smooth transition in obtaining customer interface data and providing integration support across teams to meet CMX product goals.
The Senior Integrations Engineer is responsible for independently delivering complex, high-reliability integrations between CodaMetrix's AI-driven coding platform and customer health systems."
Responsibilities
Technical leadership of the Integration team supporting both CodaMetrix product development and implementations, independently taking projects from inception to end
Coordinate across Engineering, Machine Learning, Product, and Professional Services teams, strong understanding of organizational layout
Proactively participates in project activities, including status meetings and reviews of other engineers’ designs and code, helping to determine best way forward
Writes and tests advanced integrations between CodaMetrix Customers and the core CodaMetrix services with minimal to no oversight, but knows when to regroup during exceptional cases.
Overall architecture and design of the Integration services and how they fit into the larger CodaMetrix solution
Partners with the Machine Learning and Engineering teams to ensure integration pipelines deliver clean, complete clinical data that meets model input requirements, and troubleshoots data-quality issues that affect downstream AI model performance
Uses AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot/Claude Code or similar) to accelerate design, coding, and testing, while applying sound engineering judgment to validate AI-generated output ·
Requirements
Required
6-8 years of architecture, development and implementation experience, including with HL7v2 and FHIR technologies
Deep and broad knowledge of Integration Engines such as Mirth and Rhapsody
Comfortable using AI coding assistants as part of the daily development workflow, with the judgment to review and validate their output rather than accept it blindly
Familiarity with AI/ML-driven data pipelines and an understanding of how upstream data quality affects model accuracy (no ML engineering background required)
Cloud computing experience
Experience with HTTP(s), REST, (S)FTP, TCP/IP, JSON, CSV, XML
Intermediate to advanced experience with JavaScript
Advanced integration/Interface development, testing, and delivery
Strong verbal and written communication skills with both management and peers
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar field
