Senior Internal Auditor

Senior Internal Auditor - Up to $105k + 5%

Our client, a global organization, is hiring a Senior Auditor. This position offers exposure to internal audit, SOX, financial reporting, risk management, fraud investigations, and special projects, with the opportunity to lead audit assignments and mentor junior team members.

The company’s corporate headquarters is located in a suburban setting just outside Reading, PA, with convenient access and free parking. ***4 days onsite, 1 day remote

Responsibilities

• Lead financial and operational audits from planning through completion
• Coordinate audit assignments and lead staff auditors throughout the audit process
• Evaluate internal controls, identify risks, and make recommendations for improvement
• Support SOX reviews, financial statement analysis, and external audit activities
• Participate in fraud investigations and other special projects as needed
• Evaluate audit findings and prepare clear, professional audit reports
• Manage audit documentation, project timelines, and status reporting
• Work closely with departments throughout the organization to communicate findings and provide recommendations
• Help develop and mentor staff auditors
• Utilize various audit and financial systems to analyze data and support audit activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, IT, or a related field
• 4+ years of financial auditing experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
• CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE, or MBA is preferred
