Senior Internal Auditor (m/f)

Experis is recruiting a (Senior) Internal Auditor – General Audit for direct integration into a cliente based in Vila Nova de Famalicão, Portugal.

As an Internal Auditor, you will play a key role in strengthening client's ability to create, protect, and sustain value by providing independent, risk-based assurance and advice to the Executive Board and the Tire organization. You will conduct entity and functional audits across international locations, assess risks and compliance, identify improvement opportunities, and work closely with management and multidisciplinary teams across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct entity, process, and functional audits worldwide through interviews, data analysis, and on-site or remote audit activities;
• Assess compliance with internal standards, policies, procedures, and applicable legislation;
• Identify risks, process optimization opportunities, and areas for overall improvement;
• Lead audit teams or participate as an auditor within multidisciplinary audit teams;
• Advise management on the development and improvement of internal processes and structures;
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations, and monitor their implementation;
• Participate in fraud investigations when required;
• Engage in project work within General Audit and in collaboration with other central functions.

Profile:

• Academic degree in Business Administration, Law, Engineering, or a comparable qualification;
• Several years of professional experience in Internal Audit or operational business;
• Multiple years of experience working with SAP, ideally as a key user for specific SAP modules, or an IT background at the interface between IT and business, combining commercial understanding with system knowledge;
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications;
• Experience with additional systems such as SAP, mySuccess / Employee Central, and Financial & Accounting systems is an advantage;
• Strong sense of ownership, proactive attitude, and strong team orientation;
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with good time management, task planning, and prioritization;
• Business-fluent English (written and spoken);
• Willingness to undertake international business travel (approximately 30–50% of working time).

Contract: Permanent, direct hire with cliente (no outsourcing)

Location: Lousado, Vila Nova de Famalicão (Braga)

Work Model: (3 days on-site | 2 days remote)
