Location: the Paris region is mandatory if the role is based in France. The role may also be performed remotely from Spain, the United Kingdom or Germany, with travel to Paris required every month.
Valid authorization to work in the country from which the role will be performed is mandatory: France, Spain, the United Kingdom or Germany.
Tomo is developing the first digital peer-support platform that enables trained patients to support other patients and their relatives through video calls, phone calls or messaging.
Tomo also develops real-world studies and an artificial intelligence analysis system to better understand patient journeys and improve care pathways.
Today, Tomo works with international pharmaceutical companies, CROs, healthcare institutions, health insurance providers and more than 50 patient associations.
Our ambition is to make peer support accessible across Europe.
Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for continuing and accelerating Tomo’s international business development.
International expansion will take place progressively, with an initial focus on Spain, where Tomo has already signed its first contracts, followed by the United Kingdom. Germany and Italy will be opened progressively, depending on results and identified opportunities.
Using the prospecting tools and resources already in place, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities with healthcare companies, healthcare institutions and other stakeholders within our ecosystem across these markets.
The role will be 95% focused on new business acquisition. You will be responsible for identifying, qualifying and converting new opportunities through to contract signature.
You will also be responsible for adapting Tomo’s offerings and value proposition to the specific needs, practices and characteristics of each local market.
You will manage high-value sales cycles in collaboration with the leadership team and project teams. You will independently manage your sales pipeline and ensure that opportunities are followed through to conversion.
You will play an active role in structuring Tomo’s international commercial strategy. The international team will grow in line with the results achieved. Over time, you may have the opportunity to lead this team.
- Develop and convert new business opportunities with pharmaceutical companies, CROs, medical device manufacturers, healthcare institutions and other healthcare stakeholders.
- Prioritize and develop the Spanish market, then contribute to opening the United Kingdom, Germany and Italy according to results and identified opportunities.
- Implement a prospecting strategy adapted to each target market.
- Open new accounts and build a strong network among key decision-makers within target organizations.
- Identify local needs and challenges in order to adapt Tomo’s offerings, sales arguments and value propositions.
- Lead sales meetings from initial contact through to contract signature.
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders in the pharmaceutical, CRO, MedTech and healthcare sectors.
- Contribute to the preparation of commercial proposals, responses to calls for tender and presentation materials.
- Maintain rigorous oversight of the sales pipeline and sales forecasts across the different markets.
- Work closely with the Commercial Director, the CEO and project teams to develop innovative international offerings.
- Contribute to structuring international sales processes, tools and methodologies.
- Represent Tomo at conferences, professional events and trade shows in France and abroad.
- Occasional travel to the target countries will be required, particularly for client meetings, professional events and contract signings.
- Contribute, over time, to structuring and developing the international sales team.

You are first and foremost a new business acquisition profile, able to identify new opportunities, open strategic accounts and manage complex sales cycles in an international environment.
You are comfortable working in multicultural environments and can adapt your sales approach to the specific characteristics of different markets.
You have:
- 5 to 10 years of commercial experience in the healthcare sector, ideally with pharmaceutical companies, CROs, medical device manufacturers, healthcare institutions or HealthTech companies.
- Hands-on experience in international business development and opening new markets.
- Experience working with or selling to healthcare stakeholders in Spain, the United Kingdom, Germany or Italy.
- A proven track record in prospecting, opening new accounts and winning new business.
- Excellent knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, CROs, MedTech or innovative healthcare services.
- Significant experience selling complex, high-value solutions such as services, SaaS solutions, studies, consulting services or innovative medical devices.
- C1/C2-level English, mandatory both spoken and written. English will be used in commercial discussions, client meetings and the preparation of commercial proposals.
- Spanish language skills are a strong advantage, given the priority assigned to the Spanish market.
- German or Italian language skills would also be appreciated.
- The ability to engage with senior stakeholders and build long-term commercial relationships.

- Valid authorization to work in the country from which the role will be performed, namely France, Spain, the United Kingdom or Germany. If based in France, living in the Paris region is mandatory. If based in Spain, the United Kingdom or Germany, the role will be remote, with travel to Paris required every month.
This role is aimed at experienced candidates with significant international experience. It is not suitable for junior profiles or candidates at the beginning of their careers.
