Are you an experienced regulatory professional with a strong investigative mindset and a passion for maintaining integrity in highly regulated environments?
About the Role
As a Probity Officer, you will play a key role in assessing gaming-related licence applications, conducting complex probity investigations and determining a range of regulatory approval requests across the gaming, wagering and casino sectors.
Working within a dynamic and evolving regulatory environment, you will analyse complex information, interpret legislation and prepare high-quality reports, briefs and recommendations that support informed decision-making.
This is an opportunity to contribute to best-practice regulation by identifying emerging risks and trends, supporting policy development and helping shape innovative regulatory approaches. You will collaborate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver outcomes that protect the integrity of the industry and support the achievement of regulatory objectives.
No two days are the same. You will balance investigative work, stakeholder engagement, research and analysis while ensuring regulatory activities are delivered in a fair, impartial and efficient manner.
About You
You're a proactive and analytical professional with experience in regulatory, compliance, investigative or probity-related roles.
You have strong judgement, can interpret and apply legislation with confidence, and are comfortable managing complex and sensitive matters in a high-volume environment.
You communicate clearly, build positive relationships with stakeholders and produce accurate, well-reasoned reports and recommendations.
Most importantly, you're committed to integrity, impartiality and delivering high-quality outcomes that support effective regulation.
You are also naturally curious and analytical. Whether researching an issue, identifying emerging trends, preparing a project brief or compiling performance reports, you can translate information into clear insights and practical recommendations.
