Key Responsibilities We’re seeking a Senior Investigator to join our team. In this critical role, you’ll conduct in‑depth research on companies and individuals around the world to identify legal, regulatory, and reputational risks. Your work will help our clients make informed decisions by uncovering potential concerns and presenting your findings in clear, well‑structured reports. You’ll collaborate closely with case managers and senior leaders across several practice areas, including Executive Due Diligence, Disputes, and Corporate Risk and Due Diligence. Through your meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, you’ll deliver actionable intelligence that strengthens the Mintz Group’s reputation for excellence and supports our strategic goals. Conduct Comprehensive Investigations: Conduct investigative interviews and utilize databases (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) to analyze legal, corporate, and public records. Perform deep Internet, metadata, and social media research to identify key patterns and insights. Synthesize findings from litigation, financial records, and news sources into clear, comprehensive reports. Draft, edit, and review client memos and reports, ensuring accuracy and clarity. Participate in Training and Mentorship Programs: Begin to mentor junior investigators, enhancing their research techniques and report-writing skills. Optimize investigative processes through critical thinking, pattern recognition, and strategic tool utilization. Contribute to internal training and thought leadership initiatives. Research and Industry Innovation Stay current on trends in investigative research, fraud detection, and regulatory developments. Identify and implement new tools and methodologies to improve research accuracy and efficiency. What Makes You a Great Fit: We’re looking for candidates with strong research skills and a naturally curious mindset. Our clients rely on us to identify potential risks or investigate complex matters thoroughly and accurately. Clear, concise writing is also essential, to provide value to our clients. With that in mind, the ideal candidate will bring many of the skills and experiences listed below. Experience: Ideally 2 – 4 years’ experience in a similar role (fraud investigations, litigation support, or due diligence) in a consulting environment will be necessary for this position. Qualifications: Undergraduate degree required; advanced degree preferred. High-Level Writing and Reporting: The ability to draft, edit, and finalize client-ready reports. Analytical Thinking: Recognizes complex patterns, applies financial, legal, and regulatory knowledge, and provides strategic insights. Ready to Join Us?
