Senior iOS Engineer

Then you've come to the right place. This is a hands-on engineering role. You will spend your time in the code, in design discussions, and in the details that make an app secure, fast, and maintainable. If that is where you do your best work, keep reading. You will build and ship complex iOS features in Swift, contribute to the mobile team's architecture decisions, and help keep the codebase secure and high quality over time. That means writing and reviewing code, contributing to design sessions, and being someone the team can rely on when a problem gets hard. You will help improve the team's testing and its App Store release process, and contribute to Android where it helps the team. You will report to a Delivery Lead, who owns your growth, your priorities, and delivery. Technical direction and standards for the product sit with the team's Tech Lead and the wider engineering chapter, and you will be a strong contributor to both. You will not have direct reports; your impact comes from the quality of your work and the way you lift the people around you. You have been building iOS apps seriously for at least five years, Swift is your home turf, and you have a track record of shipping products you can talk about. You write code others want to build on, you make sound design choices within a team's direction, and you help the engineers around you get better. Must Have: iOS : Deep expertise in Swift, UIKit and SwiftUI, Apple's HIG, app lifecycle, secure storage, and native architecture patterns. API and networking: Strong grasp of RESTful APIs, mobile-backend integration, and secure data exchange. CI/CD and tooling: Comfortable with pipelines, Git workflows, and release management including phased rollouts. Testing : Real command of automated testing across unit, UI, snapshot, and integration. Not just theoretical familiarity. Nice to Have: Android : Some hands-on Kotlin and Jetpack experience, enough to contribute to Android reviews when the team needs it. Cross-platform awareness : Familiarity with Flutter, React Native, or MAUI, and Your day-to-day will include Building complex, high-impact iOS features in Swift, and contributing to Android in Kotlin where it helps the team. Applying architecture patterns such as MVVM and Clean Architecture, and helping shape them with the team. Following and helping raise iOS best practices for app architecture, UIKit and SwiftUI, secure storage, and performance. Helping identify and pay down technical debt with a clear eye on long-term maintainability, not just the next sprint. Contributing to the CI/CD pipelines and the release process for the App Store, and the Play Store where relevant. Writing tests across unit, UI, integration, and snapshot frameworks, and helping strengthen the test strategy. Contributing to Architecture Decision Records, technical documentation, and engineering blueprints. Investigating and resolving critical production issues. the clear-headedness to weigh native versus cross-platform tradeoffs honestly. Your day-to-day will include: Building complex, high-impact iOS features in Swift, and contributing to Android in Kotlin where it helps the team. Applying architecture patterns such as MVVM and Clean Architecture, and helping shape them with the team. Following and helping raise iOS best practices for app architecture, UIKit and SwiftUI, secure storage, and performance.
