InPost Pay is building its own fintech platform from the ground up. It’s a large-scale, international initiative where engineers will have the opportunity to shape the architecture, build core fintech components, and create solutions designed to operate at InPost’s scale.
We’re building a lean, highly effective engineering organization in Poland, with AI-native engineering at its core. We’re looking for strong engineers who are comfortable with agentic engineering, from experienced professionals building complex systems and engineering tooling to a new generation of engineers who have embraced AI-driven development from the start of their careers.
→ Hybrid working model: preferably 1 day per week in the Warsaw or Cracow office.
We are looking for an experienced iOS Engineer to join our FinTech Platform team. You will take end-to-end ownership of the native iOS platform, including architecture, quality, performance, and the delivery of consumer and merchant-facing solutions.
You will help maintain a zero-regression production environment and contribute to both the technical health of the platform and the business outcomes of the products you build
What you will do
- Own the architecture of a production FinTech iOS application, including layered architectural patterns, module boundaries, and dependency structure.
- Develop and maintain native iOS solutions using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit.
- Implement concurrency and reactive application flows using async/await, Actors, and Combine.
- Work with local persistence and security solutions such as Core Data, SwiftData, and Keychain Services.
- Contribute throughout the full development lifecycle, including PRD authorship, specification writing, testing, feature-flagged releases, and structured event emission.
- Build and maintain automated tests using XCTest and XCUITest.
- Profile and improve application performance using Instruments, including Time Profiler, Allocations, Leaks, and Core Animation.
- Maintain a zero-regression approach through production crash monitoring with tools such as Crashlytics.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD automation using Fastlane, Xcode Cloud, or equivalent solutions.
- Own integrations between native and web-based experiences, including WKWebView, universal links, deep linking, and handoff.
- Co-own the team backlog with Engineering and Product Managers, bringing iOS constraints and native solution proposals into requirement shaping.
- Collaborate with backend engineers on API contracts, authentication flows, and event schemas.
- Participate in production incident support and post-mortem activities when required.
- At least 5 years of experience in native iOS engineering, including production applications published through the App Store.
- At least 4 years of experience working with Swift and SwiftUI and/or UIKit.
- At least 3 years of experience with iOS testing using XCTest and XCUITest.
- Strong knowledge of Swift 5.x, including Swift Concurrency, async/await, Actors, and Combine.
- Production-level experience with SwiftUI and UIKit, including an understanding of their rendering lifecycles.
- Knowledge of Clean Architecture, MVVM, and/or MVI, with a strong understanding of module and layer boundaries.
- Experience with Swift Package Manager and/or CocoaPods.
- Understanding of dependency inversion and designing code for testability.
- Experience with Core Data, SwiftData, and Keychain Services.
- Knowledge of URLSession, certificate pinning, and structured error handling.
- Experience profiling iOS applications with Instruments.
- Experience with Fastlane, Xcode Cloud, or equivalent CI/CD solutions, including automated signing.
- Ability to read and work with Objective-C in legacy systems and third-party SDK integrations.
- Experience integrating feature flags and structured events at the mobile layer.
- English at a minimum B2 level.
- A university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Nice to have
- At least 2 years of experience in FinTech or regulated mobile application development.
- Experience integrating Apple Pay or PassKit.
- Experience with modular iOS architecture at a multi-framework or monorepo scale.
- Knowledge of App Clips.
- Experience implementing WCAG or Apple accessibility standards in production applications.
- Familiarity with Swift macros and SwiftUI preview tooling at scale.
- Opportunity to work in a diverse, international, and cross-functional environment, along with leading experts.
- You work and learn from a senior leader and their leadership team, expanding your experience and exposure in the e-commerce and logistics industries.
- InPost is a growing company that offers its people an increasing number of opportunities in several locations in Europe.
- Fulfilling careers with a range of benefits for people and investing in providing training opportunities for their development.
