About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior iOS Engineer to join a cloud-native engineering team working on modern, customer-facing mobile applications and digital experiences.

This is a hands-on engineering role combining deep native iOS development expertise with AWS cloud technologies, modern application architecture, CI/CD, testing, and direct customer collaboration.

You will work alongside Engineers, Architects, Engineering Managers, and Project Managers to design and deliver high-quality solutions for complex mobile initiatives. The role requires strong software engineering fundamentals, the ability to build and maintain production-ready iOS applications, and confidence working directly with customer engineering teams.

The ideal candidate brings deep Swift and native iOS expertise, strong knowledge of application design and development patterns, AWS experience, and the communication skills required to succeed in a consulting and client-facing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, maintain, and enhance production-grade native iOS applications.
  • Develop high-quality mobile solutions using Swift and modern iOS development practices.
  • Collaborate with Architects and Engineering Managers to translate technical requirements into scalable solutions.
  • Apply appropriate application architecture, software design patterns, and engineering best practices.
  • Integrate mobile applications with APIs, cloud services, SDKs, and external platforms.
  • Contribute to mobile initiatives involving tracking, attribution, deep linking, in-app experiences, and customer journey optimization.
  • Write production-ready, well-tested, maintainable, and documented code.
  • Build and maintain automated testing for mobile applications.
  • Contribute to and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting mobile application delivery.
  • Work with AWS services and cloud-native architectures supporting mobile applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, staging, and production environments.
  • Participate in code reviews and technical knowledge sharing.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.
  • Collaborate directly with customer engineering teams and clearly communicate technical decisions, progress, risks, and trade-offs.

    • Requirements:

  • Strong professional experience developing production native iOS applications.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Swift.
  • Strong understanding of iOS application architecture and software design patterns.
  • Experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting production applications.
  • Experience integrating mobile applications with APIs, SDKs, and backend/cloud services.
  • Strong experience working with AWS cloud environments.
  • Experience with CI/CD and mobile application delivery automation.
  • Strong understanding of testing and software quality practices.
  • Experience working in Agile software development environments.
  • Strong customer-facing communication skills.
  • Ability to clearly explain technical decisions and trade-offs.

    • Must Have:

  • Strong hands-on Swift development experience.
  • Strong native iOS development experience.
  • Experience building and supporting production mobile applications.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Mobile application architecture.
    • Software design patterns.
    • Application lifecycle.
    • API and service integrations.
    • Strong experience with AWS cloud services.
    • Experience integrating native applications with cloud-based backend systems.
    • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
    • Strong testing and automation practices.
    • Experience writing, reviewing, and deploying production-quality code.
    • Experience troubleshooting applications across development and production environments.
    • Experience participating in code reviews.
    • Strong client-facing communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively with Engineers, Architects, Engineering Managers, and customer technical teams.

    • Nice to Have:

  • Objective-C experience, particularly supporting or modernizing legacy iOS applications.
  • Experience with mobile attribution and analytics technologies.
  • Experience implementing mobile deep linking.
  • Experience integrating third-party mobile SDKs.
  • Experience with Firebase.
  • Experience with AppsFlyer or similar attribution platforms.
  • Experience with CDP or customer-data integrations.
  • Experience working on marketing technology or conversion-related mobile initiatives.
  • Experience with modern web/application technologies such as:
    • React
    • Node.js
    • TypeScript
    • Python
    • Familiarity with Generative AI technologies.
