About the Role
The Senior IT Administrator is responsible for architecting, optimizing, and securing the company's internal office network infrastructure and Corporate IT SaaS systems. As the highest level for technical escalation, this role involves executing IT strategy, ensuring operational readiness, executing data loads, and performing data modeling in support of all departmental groups/teams. The ideal candidate will be adept at transitioning beyond just performing daily tickets and tasks to focus on overall system design, automation, enhanced services and leading technical initiatives.

Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Work autonomously to design, purchase, install, and support enterprise network communications and services.
- Act as the Tier 3 escalation point for problems of a diverse nature and complex set of equipment, where analysis requires logical evaluation and strategic judgement.
- Evaluate current network systems performance and trends, forecasting future infrastructure needs and capacity requirements.
- Serve as an expert in the analysis, troubleshooting, and root-cause resolution of severe network incidents.
- Mentor and guide junior IT staff and help desk technicians, overseeing the overall daily performance of computer systems.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and technicians, negotiating contracts and driving IT procurement processes.
- Advanced multi-tasking and context switching between different strategic activities and teams.
- Maintain comprehensive records of system architecture, data communication transactions, and major remedial actions via the Jira ticketing system.
- Collaborate with a mixed team of varying degrees of technical skills, including everyone from developers to CSRs.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Confer with staff, stakeholders, and management to establish technical requirements for new enterprise systems or modifications.
- Prepare strategic evaluations of software or hardware and recommend architectural improvements or enterprise upgrades.
- Develop comprehensive training materials and procedures, as well as comprehensive disaster recovery plans.
- Read technical manuals, conduct advanced computer diagnostics to investigate systemic problems, and provide high-level technical assistance.
- Develop, audit, and enforce Information Security Policies and Procedures for SetForth, LLC., ensuring alignment with industry compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC2, ISO 27001).
- Perform daily duties in line with Forth, LLC Information Security Policies and Procedures.
- Ensure that information Confidentiality, Integrity and Privacy is always maintained when processing information assets.
Qualifications and Required Skills
- 7+ years of progressive experience in IT administration, infrastructure management, and systems architecture.
- Advanced experience administering enterprise-level directory services, whether JumpCloud, Active Directory / Entra ID, Okta, Jamf, Ping, or other service.
- Expertise in the maintenance and support of single sign-on (SSO) technologies, such as JumpCloud, Entra ID, Okta, Duo or other.
- Expertise administering and troubleshooting MacOS or Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11, Windows Server), including automated maintenance (Bash scripts, Powershell scripts, Python, etc.) and provisioning. This includes the enforcement of operating system patching and security standards to these devices. We use JumpCloud, but also relevant would be Intune, Jamf, NinjaOne or other similar MDM. Extra plus given for Linux familiarity and usage.
- High level expertise administering and managing cloud productivity suites, particularly Google Workspace, or similar products such as Microsoft 365, with the ability to troubleshoot email and architect enterprise solutions.
- Experience with automation and security provisioning (SCIM) for enterprise SaaS platforms, including Google Workspaces, TalkDesk, ZenDesk, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and M365
- Ability to administer, troubleshoot and architect networking solutions, with a good knowledge of LAN, WAN, wireless, DNS, 802.1x, VPN and associated configurations. We use Cisco but are open to other experience.
- Strong knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options and architecture for SaaS environments.
- Direct experience helping implement or administer artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to a company, whether Gemini, Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot or other.

- Industry certifications preferred (e.g., Google Cloud Certified: Professional Cloud Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CCNA/CCNP, or equivalent).
Pay Range and Compensation Package
- $125,000-$140,000
